Want a simple idea for how to connect to the spirit realm? It’s closer than you might think!

Many assume speaking with spirits is a rare, natural ability. While there can be a genetic propensity, curiosity grows best in a space where talking about our experiences feels normal. We don’t have to be ‘born with a gift’. Simple practices can help build a natural bridge.

Here’s a hint.

Make a date with your beliefs.

Create a space in your daily, weekly or monthly routine to sit with an intention to develop your connection. You might feel drawn to explore different doorways––gemstones, animal spirits, muscle testing, mediumship.

Let your curiosity guide you. Notice what gently pulls you in. Feel into what lifts your sense of joy, then indulge it at a certain time each week.

Time, intention, focus. Openness, trust, willingness. Consistency, curiosity, contemplation. This is about you showing up with unwavering persistence, rather than haphazard, occasional pondering.

The Spiritual realm, your guides, your loved ones in spirit are deeply interested in connecting with you. The joy they exude, their thoughts and encouragement can become palpable over time. They are here to help raise your vibration so that you might feel a connection to all that is. When intentions unite across the veil, magic begins to unfold.

Create a space, show up, and in a few months, you may be amazed at how much your abilities blossom.

We Are Holding Your Heart in our Hearts

There isn't a moment that goes by where your angels, loved ones and guides aren't with you.

On the good days, we are elbowing each other for room. Other days, we simply aren't needed as much. Good, because we love to be needed. That may mean a tough day for you.

Either way, what I mean to say is, there is never a day you're abandoned. In which case, that mindset you sometimes have of a loneliness, silence, singularity, must be a falsehood wouldn't you say?

It's not that your prayers aren't heard. There is nothing you need to do differently. The quiet you hear is a choir on this side. Our vibration is highest when yours can't be.

We are over here holding you in sacred space so you might have the strength to feel what you feel. Your soul self knows this as truth. But some days it takes an age to sink in.

Till then, try to imagine our existence and find comfort when and where you can.

It speaks to the idea that love and connection continue beyond loss, and that those in spirit remain aware of our pain, sharing in our sorrow and offering quiet companionship. In moments when grief feels overwhelming, it gently reassures us that our tears are witnessed and our hearts are never truly alone.

In the midst of grief, be gentle with yourself. There will be days when reaching out for support feels too difficult, and that is all right. Even in those quiet, heavy moments, know that you are held in love—by angels, by loved ones in spirit, and by the presence of Spirit itself. Once, I encountered a child in spirit...

She didn’t speak.
She didn’t reach out.

She looked at me with quiet courage. Appearing was an act of bravery.

Not because she expected a response…but because she was willing to take a risk.

What followed was an invitation to believe my own eyes. She was truly with me. Not my imagination...

Telepathy with the Living: A Soul-to-Soul Update Ten Years Late

Last night, Spirit popped in during meditation to asked if I might be interested in an update on a man I did an extensive soul-to-soul communication with over ten years ago. I was delighted and accepted the invitation.

The gentleman in question lives thousands of miles away in the Netherlands. We have never been in touch on the Earthly plane. Ergo, I don’t get updates. This invitation by the grace of Spirit is an utter surprise. I accept, recognizing ultimate permission has come from the soul self of the gentleman himself.

Kee is a man who lives with tremendous anxiety. As such, he has lived in a small room in an assisted living facility for most of his life. His parents live an hour’s drive away.

When we met in 2013, ‘Kee’ (a name given to me by Spirit) made it perfectly clear that under no circumstances was I to step into his private room. We sat on the floor outside his door to chat where I learned his ability to communicate was equal or better than mine. He spoke to me directly demanding to know who I was. What made this new to me at the time, was that Kee was a living spirit, speaking to me in the now as opposed to a spirit in the afterlife communicating across time.

Yesterday, through my practice of automatic writing (channeling) Spirit explained that Kee had recently moved to a larger apartment within the security of familiar surroundings. To move would have taken Kee tremendous courage. I was both awed and uplifted by the idea. Spirit then asked me to reach out to Kee’s Mother Maria, to verify this news.

This morning, a note from Maria arrived.
