Winter’s Soft Exhale
Winter arrives quietly,
like a soft exhale over the land.
The last leaves linger,
golden and fragile,
trembling in the gentle breeze.
The air is crisp but kind,
carrying the faint scent of earth and calmer days.
Our breath hangs in the cool morning air,
while the river mirrors a pale, gentle sun.
Winter drifts in slowly,
as the world leans gently
into its calm, silent hush.
