During National Volunteer Week, we celebrate the incredible people who make the heart of Island Prostate Centre beat stronger every day.

Our volunteers are more than helpers — they are listeners, supporters, and a steady presence for individuals and families navigating a prostate cancer diagnosis. They offer their time, compassion, and lived experience to ensure no one has to face this journey alone.

Because of you, our programs reach further, our impact grows deeper, and our community feels stronger.

To each and every one of you — thank you. Your dedication truly makes a difference. 💙

Welcome to the 2026 Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live! Whether you’re here as a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, you are part of a powerful community driven by compassion, awareness, and the shared commitment to make a difference.

Had a great time at the Victoria Playmakers Tournament banquet last night. Thanks to a generous donation to the Centre, plus our annual balloon pop, we raised $2500 for the programs and services that support patients right here in our community. Congrats to Ken from Edmonton on winning the $500 from the winning balloon 🎈

Our Story

Island Prostate Centre (IPC) is the only non-profit that guides and empowers Vancouver Island men and their families as they navigate the uncertainty of a prostate cancer diagnosis.

We uniquely offer the time and space you need to explore your options and human supports so you never walk alone.

We offer more than information. We provide guidance in decision-making and time and space to chat things through – room that can otherwise be difficult to find.

Because prostate cancer isn’t a solo journey, we welcome you and your family – however you define it.
