Had a great time at the Victoria Playmakers Tournament banquet last night. Thanks to a generous donation to the Centre, plus our annual balloon pop, we raised $2500 for the programs and services that support patients right here in our community. “Information was provided in a calm and nurturing manner. Getting a hug helped.”
This is what support looks like.
Beyond information, beyond appointments — it’s about human connection. It’s about feeling heard, understood, and cared for. This is the foundation of our Nurse Navigator Program.
Because a prostate cancer journey shouldn’t be walked alone. Island Prostate Centre is here to help!

Island Prostate Centre (IPC) is the only non-profit that guides and empowers Vancouver Island men and their families as they navigate the uncertainty of a prostate cancer diagnosis.
We uniquely offer the time and space you need to explore your options and human supports so you never walk alone.
We offer more than information. We provide guidance in decision-making and time and space to chat things through – room that can otherwise be difficult to find.
Because prostate cancer isn’t a solo journey, we welcome you and your family – however you define it.
