Connie was the winner of our January scholarship and the success she’s had has made us so damn proud of her.

If you know her, you can’t help but love her (we know all the dogs do 🐶), so we were genuinely so honoured to be a part of her journey.

By staying consistent, putting in the work (even when it wasn’t perfect), and actually prioritizing herself, she’s seen huge shifts - physically and mentally.

She was absolutely deserving of this opportunity, but she also showed up and did the work to get these results.

Sometimes the biggest improvements don’t come from doing something extreme. They come from tightening up the basics.

A few things we see make a big difference for clients:
• tracking cooking oils
• eating protein at breakfast
• drinking more water

Welcome to the Team, Liv!

Liv is a registered dietitian based in Victoria, BC, though she has lived in Vancouver, Kelowna, Halifax, and Brisbane. With a background in Human Kinetics and Applied Nutrition, she combines science with a supportive, down-to-earth approach to nutrition.

Passionate about helping others build a healthier relationship with food, Liv focuses on making nutrition both nourishing and enjoyable. Her experience spans long-term care, community health, bariatric surgery, women’s health, and weight management. She is committed to providing evidence-based guidance while creating a positive and empowering space for her clients.

Outside of her practice, Liv enjoys spending time with her dog, Benny, teaching spin, reading, and indulging her love of fashion—especially anything leopard print. She is dedicated to helping others feel their best and approaches every client relationship with encouragement, expertise, and a touch of fun.

Fettle + Food was developed from a passion and love for helping people be better — better parents who are more active with their kids, better athletes in their sport, better employers who have more energy and less stress.

It stemmed from my curiosity to learn about the power of food, and how diet can heal our bodies and fuel us to push our threshold every day.

Fettle + Food is passionate about bringing physical fitness (sport, exercise, performance, body composition) and nutrition together. In fact, we believe it’s essential. To get the results you want – no matter what they are – fettle and food go hand-in-hand.
