and then here, self-protection is like what part of me is talking? My consciousness wants certainly but my subconscious wants TRUTH and what, in my body and experience is the difference between the truth of something and certainty about it. Certainty is about finding enough evidence to prove what we need to protect ourselves as true and happening and truth is saying hmmm but actually what if everything we have experience and are scared of isn’t actually what is still going on or our life is about? Ultimately self protection is about engaging with as much hope as we do fear.

And now we’re in week 9, the last day, which is insanity. And basically compassion here is like “hey compassion isn’t just the easy soft stuff, it’s sort of on the other side of strength where compassion is actually having insight to the truth of our experience and why we do what we do and what others do what they do and not having judgement for it or an evaluation of who they are or we are and still lovingly knowing what we will and won’t tolerate or deserve”

Week 8 came and went - tbh I have so much to say about strength but most of it is that true strength is the vulnerability to ask for help and not exacerbate our weaknesses is trying to prove that strength is overcoming something when really it is surrendering to something.

Who Is She?

My aim is to empower, inspire, and educate every person who crosses my path - no matter what they need. I have something to offer everyone, even if it’s just giving you some good energy to get through your day or a lil astro-update to tell you why you suddenly feel so sensitive. I am many things, and have been many things. Haven’t we all?

You may know me as Fo, Forest, the creator of herHABITAT, the author of a couple books. Maybe you know me as a yogi, a tarot reader, or that girl who ran away from school when she was 12. Perhaps a barista. I’ve had many faces.

So what’s behind these masks and titles?

A poet. A sensitive, loud-laughing woman. A claircognizant creature trying to follow my intuition and bring the many skills and talents I’ve curated over my small lifetimes in various fields. You can find me writing, reading, and curating in Halifax, NS.
