From trick-or-treating and pub parties to murder mystery lunches and costume contests, this Halloween was nothing short of magical! ✨

Our communities showed off their creativity, humor, and community spirit with some truly spellbinding costumes and plenty of laughter. It was a wicked celebration that captured the fun and vibrant lifestyle we enjoy every day at Berwick.

🍎🧀 A Perfect Fall Adventure! 🍂

This adventurous group of ladies from Berwick on the Park, Kamloops enjoyed a beautiful day trip to Armstrong, BC, where they sampled delicious local cheese and visited a charming cidery. The weather was perfect — crisp air, golden sunshine, and trees dressed in stunning shades of green, red, and gold.

We’re so lucky to be located in a region surrounded by natural beauty and local flavours! The Okanagan and the North and South Thompson Valleys offer an abundance of incredible wineries, cideries, and experiences just waiting to waiting to be explored.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Gordon Denford (1927–2025), the founder and visionary behind Berwick Retirement Communities.

Gordon was a true pioneer in the senior living industry, a prolific builder of communities and a leader who reimagined what retirement living could be. Guided by integrity and compassion, he always chose to do the right thing, even when it wasn’t the easy thing to do. His belief that seniors deserve vibrant, connected, and dignified places to live shaped not only Berwick, but the standard for retirement communities across British Columbia.

Beyond his accomplishments, Gordon will be remembered for how he made people feel. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to inspire everyone who knew him.

As we honour his life and legacy, we remain dedicated to carrying forward his vision & values with the same heart and purpose that guided him.
