Baby's first cold, and a mom who hadn't washed her hair in probably a week. wrap to the rescue! I The snot sucker was an absolute no-go for this dude, so steam was our only option.

was so shocked at how well this wrap supported out 17.5 pound 7 month old, stretchy wraps don't get enough credit past the newborn stage!

Thank you to Cassidy at for this idea. This has to be my new favourite co-regulation trick

I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of a spirit baby.

Maybe because for a long time I hoped my own spirit baby was waiting to join me.
Or maybe because I’ve always been curious about how we make sense of the human consciousness experience at all.

Either way, I have room to dream about this idea — without needing it to be literal, provable, or shared by everyone.

Some people feel a deep connection.
Some don’t.
Both can be true.

Did you — or do you — have a spirit baby?

Babywearing is a place to land.
A way to heal.
A bridge between survival and softness.

It allows me to eat, to socialize, to move, to clean, to rest, to walk, to nurse, to heal, to bond.

Her Story

Andrea is a registered massage therapist and an avid birth enthusiast. She works in the surroundings of motivated, multidisciplinary healthcare professionals at Pure Ellements Wellness. Though she sees a varied clientele for issues such as stress management and chronic pain, her focus is to support women of all ages through their child bearing years and beyond. Passion for this patient population has lead her to explore avenues leading to labor support, prenatal fitness and education. She is currently exploring ways to serve you best in those fields. As an RMT, Andrea enjoys work with the teen population, pregnancy, postpartum individual’s, and to care for their children and infants. Alongside strategic home care planning, her practice style is to provide intense relaxation while treating the root of pain and imbalance.
