Pathway Health Corp. is excited to welcome the riders of The Rolling Barrage (https://therollingbarrage.com/) in support of their PTSD Foundation with an open house to feature the IRP services (www.irphealth.ca) that will be offered in early-fall 23 at the Tay River Health Centre in Perth, Ontario.
Founded in 2016 by Scott Casey with a vision to create a cross-Canada motorcycle ride to dispel the stigma surrounding post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), The Rolling Barrage now represents a community of veterans and riders in support of programs and organizations for CAF members, Veterans, and First Responders. The funding and support garnered from the 19 to 21-day ride across Canada has not only grown in fellowship but improved the education, awareness, and accessibility for veterans to obtain treatment for mental and physical well-being.
The Rolling Barrage PTSD Foundation represents an important community for the IRP Health and Pathway Health teams, with IRP services founded on the experiences of veteran and first responders when it comes to spaces that meet their rehabilitation needs. The need for nurturing and building safe spaces for these communities remains an integral part of the IRP mandate, and this latest partnership with The Rolling Barrage will allow the team to showcase the state of the art and supportive space of Tay River Health Centre.
