Hello friends
If you received Covid-19 (Astra Zeneca or AZ) vaccine from us, this message is for you.

The BC government in co-ordination with the BC Pharmacy Association have announced the following for individuals who received the first dose of Astra Zeneca Vaccine. These individuals will have the choice of receiving a 2nd dose of Astra Zeneca vaccine from Vital Health Pharmacy OR going to a public health clinic for a Moderna or Pfizer mRNA vaccine.

Vital Health Pharmacy staff WILL contact you if you received this vaccine from us, and we will be running clinics between June 12th and June 27th - only for patients who received first doses of AZ vaccine from our pharmacy, and the only vaccine we will be administering is the AZ vaccine. Again if you wish to receive 2nd dose of an mRNA vaccine you must register and go to one of the public health run clinics.

If you have questions, our pharmacy team will be contacting each of you who received the first dose of AZ vaccine from us.

Hi everyone,

These are filling up fast. This will use up most of our doses - of Astra Zeneca vaccine. We hope to get more but cannot confirm when.

We are pleased to be offering two large vaccination clinics at Vital Health Pharmacy this SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (April 17th and 18th). The booking link is now open below, and you can sign up.

It is extremely important for you fill out both the vaccine consent form and COVID-19 symptom form prior to showing up to the clinic (all online through the app) because this clinic must stay on schedule! The COVID-19 symptom form should be sent to you 24h before your appointment.

Note: if the booking app is putting you on the waitlist it means the clinics have already filled up. Being on the waitlist is useful, as we will contact you for the next sign-up opportunity.

Vital Health Pharmacy, Victoria and many other Victoria pharmacies now have the Astra Zeneca vaccine for people currently aged 55-65 who want to get vaccinated sooner than waiting for their age at public health clinics.

Registration is ONLY through online access via the BCPHA link below and it’s first come first serve. We are running a test clinic tomorrow (Sunday April 11th) and will begin larger clinics next weekend. Right now the app will accept your name on a waiting list, we will email you prior to next weekend’s clinics with more details on how to register. Or you can just check back on the link below (find our pharmacy name) from time to time this week to see if there is availability.

If you can register at another pharmacy sooner than next weekend, please do so! If you register with us and get an appointment and then get an appointment somewhere else, please cancel your appointment to make room for someone else. If you develop any symptoms of Covid-19 after booking but prior to your appointment, please cancel your appointment, seek medical attention and get tested for Covid-19.

If you phone us about this we are happy to answer your questions but all bookings will be made online, only.
