Ever feel like your body is just holding on for dear life??
Emotionally and physically (and digestively?!)
There’s a point in acupuncture called San Jiao-6 (zhi gou) that we use a lot for constipation! In school my teacher drilled into our memory that this point is used for constipation and still to this day I hear “zhi gou makes the poo go” wherever a patient tells me they’re struggling with constipation.

It’s about movement. It’s about getting the qi and blood moooving.
In Chinese medicine, constipation isn’t just “not p**ping”. It’s a sign that something is stuck.
Stress. Tension. Overthinking. Holding.
San Jiao 6 helps the body gently let go.
It encourages smooth flow of Qi, fluids, and yes… your p**p too.
Sometimes your body doesn’t need more force.
It needs space and permission to move again.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, backed up, or like your system needs a reset, acupuncture might be a softer way in 🤍
