At Little Ears, I don’t offer “quick, easy, and free” hearing tests. I provide comprehensive diagnostic audiology assessments for all ages—the kind designed to understand whether a hearing difficulty exists, what may be causing it, and what meaningful options are available.
It’s a less common approach in a landscape where so much attention is placed on selling hearing aids. My focus is, and always has been, on the person in front of me.
To help strengthen and grow this model of care, I also travel to Whitehorse to support their public health clinics. Yesterday I was in Victoria, walking my Golden Retrievers in 14°C. Today in the Yukon, It's a little colder, but the work is just as important. 🦖 ☃️ ❄️

This was a remarkable group. At the BC provincials, they earned three wins out of four, with their single loss decided by only two points. Throughout the journey, they balanced intense training with their schoolwork—studying on ferries, in hotels, and on long bus rides. As they go their separate ways, this meaningful time together will remain unforgettable. Through some Little Ears sponsorship, I’m grateful to have played even a small part in their journey. You’ll be able to lend your support to some of them next season at UVIC and Camosun. LETS GO BREAKERS.
