Kieron Parsons is taking clients every Thursday starting this Thursday March 5.
-->Kieron Parsons is a clinically trained Natural Health Practitioner (UK naturopath), Manual Osteopathic Therapist and Master Herbalist, with a postgraduate degree in Gastroenterology and Integrative Health. With the foundation of his clinical practice being grounded towards optimizing gastrointestinal function, Kieron primarily works with clients that present with gut-related concerns as he believes it is the foundation of health. Additional modalities Kieron utilizes within his practice entail live blood analysis, iridology along with various other tools to assist his clients with their health conditions. Kieron is a certified Manual Osteopathic therapist for insurance purposes.
-->Osteopathic treatments have been likened to "low-velocity chiropractic" treatments, as they are a hands-on therapeutic approach focused on diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal disorders. They involve gentle manipulation and mobilization of muscles, joints, and connective tissues to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the body's natural healing processes. Osteopaths aim to restore balance and function by addressing structural and functional issues, often considering the body as an integrated whole rather than isolated parts. This practice emphasizes non-invasive techniques and holistic care.
*Although Kieron is not recognized as a Naturopathic Doctor in Alberta, he has acquired benefit coverage for his clients if your insurance policy offers "Holistic Nutrition Counselling" or "Manual Osteopath" as an option.
Marsha Prattley will be available for bookings from Tuesday through Friday every week starting Tuesday March 10th!
-->Marsha has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2008, CranioSacral Therapy since 2010 and Visceral Manipulation since 2013. She graduated from MacEwan University's Massage Therapy Program in 2008, and has taken CranioSacral Therapy I and II, SomatoEmotional Release I and II, Advanced CranioSacral Therapy I, and CranioSacral Applications for Conception, Pregnancy and Birthing I with the Upledger Institute. She has also taken Visceral Manipulation I, II, III and IV and Neuromeningeal Manipulation I with the Barral Institute and is very excited to continue her studies in this area to bring yet another skill set into her treatments.
Marsha's passion is providing gentle, holistic treatments that are individualized to each clients' needs. Please note that gentle does not mean superficial! Gentle means waiting for the tissue to release, instead of forcing the tissue to let go. The goal of her treatments is to restore balance in the body with specific, yet gentle treatments using a variety of techniques. These include Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofacial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Trigger Point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Hydrotherapy.
