Reminder! 🌟
We know life happens, and so we have what we believe is a very flexible & generous cancellation policy of just 3 hours.

Please be mindful of your bookings as we have seen an increase in “late-cancels” (within the 3 hour window), or yogis not showing for scheduled classes. This makes it very difficult for us to plan for classes, and is disheartening for the teachers. Additionally, many of our classes are full with waitlists, and no-shows and late cancels are preventing those holding hopeful on the waitlist from attending.

We would very much like to remain with our current yogi-friendly booking, pass and payment system, however may need to explore late-cancellation/ no-show fees, removing unlimited pass options, or changes to our booking process if this trend continues. We ask for your cooperation with your bookings as we go forward together. 🤍

We know the benefits and experiences that yoga brings are invaluable….but every now and again you have to attach a value to things:) 🤍 Effective today, The Welcome Mat has adjusted our pricing so as to better reflect the industry standard and to maintain the high standard we have for your yoga experience with us.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support as we grow our yoga community together. If you have any questions, please contact the studio. Note: if you are currently on an auto-renew contract with us, the old pricing (your current monthly price) will be honoured for the remaining months in your contract.

🌟March Movement Challenge!🌟

During the month of March, we challenged our yogis to complete 21 classes in 31 days, and our yogis knocked it out of the park! Many finished with extra classes and extra smiles…thank you to all who participated, and congratulations to the 5 amazing yogis who completed the challenge (Keisha, Keoma, Janelle, Brieanne & Kayla)! 🙌🏻

Participants who completed the challenge were entered into a draw to win a month of free yoga at The Welcome Mat, a massage with Alison @ What We Become, and a gift card from Jack’s Place. ☕️

🌟 MARCH MOVEMENT CHALLENGE! 🌟

The Welcome Mat is excited for the longer days and lighter vibes that Spring can bring 🌷 and we’re excited to get moving this March!

Challenge: complete 21 classes in 31 days (during the month of March) 🗓️

Registration: email or DM us to let us know you want to join in! ☑️

Details: all of our studio classes during the month of March count towards your total. There will also be an optional movement challenge “off the mat” in case you can’t make a class (can only be used once throughout the month). All yogis who complete the 21 classes will be entered in for the prize to be drawn at the end of March. 🙌🏻

Prize: one month of unlimited yoga at , a gift card to , and a lovely Lymphatic Drainage Massage courtesy of Alison 🤍

The Welcome Mat is excited to offer a Winter session of Yoga4Kids! 🧘🏼‍♀️

Children’s Yoga is designed to help kids build strength of mind and body, cultivate self-esteem and increase emotional awareness and focus. The combination of fun and focus through yoga and relaxation is taught with poses, games, stories, music, breath and imagination!

This 4 week session will run Saturdays in March (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th) from 10:00am - 11:00am (ages 7-10). See details in poster!

Registration is required and can be done by visiting our website www.welcomematyoga.com and clicking on “Workshops & Events” (scroll down to find the Yoga 4 Kids poster and registration link below it), or by using the registration link below!

Registration is for the whole 4 week session, and space is limited so register early!

Yoga AND a massage?? Yes please!!🙋‍♀️💜

Join with us Feb 21st at 7:00pm for a gentle Yin yoga class complete with mini-massage moments for participants throughout the class!

Yin yoga is both a gentle and challenging yoga practice. Poses are held for time, stretching deep connective tissue and fascia. Massage moments will be used to help deepen, release and relax making this class the perfect way to let go, loosen up and feel amazing.

There’s no place like OM...

The idea for The Welcome Mat came to me just over a year ago, and has grown incredibly and beautifully ever since! Myself as owner, yogi and community member, along with The Welcome Mat's teaching team are thrilled to bring a state of the art studio and variety of classes to Wainwright. We have a fantastic team of teachers (10 in total!) ready to offer a variety of classes with different styles, times and levels of ability...each different and promising a style for every yogi! From beginner to advanced, stretch to strength, peaceful to powerful, I promise we'll have something to suit your needs! We are looking forward to providing the latest technology and products while also using traditional practices and poses to build an awesome experience and home for you and your yoga practice!
