🌷 It’s officially Spring!

We know everyone in the Walkerton area is eager to start spring cleaning in the yard, but before you grab that rake or start clearing the winter debris, remember these 3 Spring Safety Tips:

1️⃣ Warm Up First: A 5-minute walk around the block gets your muscles ready for work.
2️⃣ Keep it Close: Whether you’re raking or lifting a bag of mulch, keep the tool or weight close to your body to protect your lower back.
3️⃣ The 20-Minute Rule: Set a timer! Take a quick stretching break every 20 minutes to prevent stiffness.

Don't let the first weekend of Spring end with a backache. Have a safe and active weekend! 🌻

🌱 Happy Spring Equinox, Walkerton!

Tomorrow marks the official start of Spring! As the days get longer and the earth begins to wake up, it’s the perfect time to "spring clean" your health.

After a long Ontario winter, our bodies can feel a bit stiff and sluggish. A chiropractic adjustment helps "reset" your nervous system so you can head into the new season with more energy and better mobility.

Ready to shake off the winter blues? We’re here to help you move into Spring feeling your best! ☀️

It's MARCH BREAK!

With the kids home and the local parks like Lobies too soggy/flooded for a run-around, we know there’s a lot more "couch time" happening this week. 🛋️💻

More screen time usually means more "Tech Neck" and slumped shoulders. To keep your little ones (and you!) feeling great, try these 3 Quick Indoor Posture Breaks:

1️⃣ The Bruegger’s Relief: Sit at the edge of the chair, arms back, palms up, and squeeze shoulder blades together for 10 seconds.
2️⃣ The "Look Up" Rule: Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to reset the neck and eyes.
3️⃣ Tummy Time: Have kids read or play on their tablets while lying on their stomachs, it strengthens the back and stops the "C-curve" slouch!

Stay dry and stay aligned, Walkerton!

Heads up, ILFC family!

With the main bridge into town back under construction, traffic is moving through alternating lanes again, which means delays are expected.

On top of that, Yonge St. North (the Lobies Bridge route) is experiencing flooding. While the road may not officially be closed yet, it’s best to avoid that way if you can, especially with rain expected.

If you’re coming in for your visit today/the remainder of this week, we encourage you to plan your route ahead of time, allow a little extra travel time, and drive safely.

If you do get caught up in traffic and think you might be running behind, please just give us a quick call or message to let us know. We appreciate it and will do our best to keep everything flowing smoothly.

Stay safe out there and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Localized Flooding on County Roads – March 7, 2026

Some Bruce County roadways are currently experiencing flooding due to heavy rains and a swiftly melting snowpack. With current and forecasted weather conditions, we encourage those travelling:
⚠️To slow down.
⚠️To activate your entire lighting system.
⚠️To be prepared for possible detours due to road closures.
⚠️Use extreme caution if you come across flooded roadways while travelling.
⚠️To be aware that fast moving and deep water may also sweep vehicles of roadways.
⛔That we do not recommend crossing flooded sections of a road as the soil underneath may be saturated and become unstable.

Our Operations Crews are responding to areas with localized flooding affecting road conditions. We are working closely with Ontario Provincial Police - West Region to address issues as they arise.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Give yourself extra time when coming into Walkerton through the main bridge!

NOTICE: Phase 2 of the Durham Street bridge rehabilitation project will resume on Monday, March 9, 2026. Initially, motorists can expect intermittent lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place.

Within the month, the bridge will transition to alternating traffic with a single-lane closure managed by temporary traffic lights and additional traffic control measures.

🚛 Weight restrictions on the Durham Street Bridge remain in effect and we have posted alternative truck routes.

📅 We anticipate completion of Phase 2 work in July 2026.

Our team at In Line Family Chiropractic had the incredible opportunity to spend a few days in Las Vegas attending the Parker Seminars, three full days of learning, inspiration, and connecting with leaders in chiropractic from all over the world.

We attended powerful keynote sessions and explored the massive expo filled with new technologies and ideas that help us continue improving the care we provide to our community. Investing time into learning and growing is something we take very seriously, because our goal is always to serve our patients at the highest level possible.

Of course, while we were there we also took a little time to enjoy the experience together as a team. We saw some sights, caught the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, shared some great meals, and enjoyed a few of the fun moments that make Las Vegas such a unique place.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our patients who supported us and allowed us the time away from the clinic to attend. Opportunities like this help us bring fresh ideas, new knowledge, and renewed energy back home to better serve you and your families.

Thank you for being part of our clinic family, we can’t wait to continue putting what we learned into action! ❤️

The snow may still be falling outside… but inside it’s all sunshine and smiles 🌴🌺

Patient Appreciation Week is officially underway!

We wanted to shake off the winter blahs and create a little mid-season lift, bright colours, beach balls, palm trees, and a few treats to say THANK YOU to the people who make this place so special.

Your commitment to your health inspires us every single day. We’re so grateful you choose to trust us with your care.

A little tropical fun, a few snacks, and a whole lot of appreciation. ☀️
