Many thanks to the Kinette Club of Walkerton for their $10,000 donation to the WDHF for the purchase of a Giraffe Light for the Dr. RJ Creighton Family Birthing Centre! This donation will impact so many families who use the services of the centre.

A Giraffe Phototherapy Light is an excellent solution for treating hyperbilirubinemia, a threat to the well-being of 60% of full-term infants, and 80% of pre-term infants. The Giraffe Light employs advanced technology, high-intensity light output, and large spot size to help ensure effective patient dosage and prompt results.

Community Support Drives X-Ray Suite Replacement Campaign Forward

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community, the Foundation is pleased to share continued momentum in its campaign to replace the Walkerton Hospital X-ray suite, moving steadily toward its $1.4 million goal.

A major source of excitement has been the strong response to the Buy-a-Bone initiative. Of the 206 bones available, 130 have already been sold, leaving just 76 remaining.

Community members interested in supporting the campaign or purchasing one
