💭 “How long do hearing aids usually last?”

In most cases, hearing aids last about five years — but that can vary depending on how they’re used, maintained, and whether they’re still meeting your hearing needs.

We help assess whether your current devices are still working well for you, or if they may be nearing the end of their useful life. No assumptions, no pressure — just clear guidance so you know where you stand.

Imagine listening to your favourite song

but a few strings are muted.

You’d still recognize it.
You’d still hear it.

But something would feel off.

That’s what early hearing loss is like.

You’re not losing the whole song.
You’re losing the notes that make it clear.

And over time, your brain works harder to fill in the gaps.

You don’t have to turn the world up.
You just have to restore the missing notes.

Rain outside our clinic today.
A perfect puddle moment.

“When life throws you rainy days, play in the puddles.” – Winnie the Pooh

We often meet people who’ve slowly stopped noticing the small sounds —
rain on pavement, boots splashing through water, quiet laughter in the background.

Hearing challenges rarely happens all at once.
It’s subtle. Gradual.

And sometimes it takes a rainy day to realize what you might be missing.

If it’s been a while since your baseline hearing test,
maybe today is your puddle moment. ☔

We’ll be here — rain or shine.

Ringing in the ears can be exhausting.

For some people, understanding their hearing and gently reintroducing everyday sounds can help take the edge off tinnitus over time.

A hearing assessment can be a helpful starting point to explore what’s going on and what options might support you.

Many people tell us the same thing before starting our hearing care program:
‘I’m worried everyone will notice my devices.’

That fear can feel huge at first.

But as they move through care, they realize something important — most people aren’t looking at their ears at all.

They’re just enjoying clearer conversations.
At All Ears, our goal is simple: help you feel like yourself again.

Have you ever smiled and nodded
but you didn’t actually hear it?

In this TEDx talk, Canadian Gael Hannan explains “bluffing” — a common survival strategy for hard of hearing people — and why it can quietly affect relationships. She also shares simple, respectful ways to communicate more clearly.

This is a powerful watch for anyone living with hearing loss and for the people who love them.
Please watch and share it with someone who would benefit.

💭 “I’ve had my hearing aids for years — can they still be improved?”

In many cases, yes. We regularly meet people whose hearing aids are in great shape but weren’t worn much because they didn’t sound or feel quite right. Sometimes they were never fully verified. Sometimes comfort was the issue.

Before jumping to replacement, we take the time to check whether your current devices are still a good fit for your hearing needs. Often, small programming or fit changes can make a big difference.

And if your hearing aids truly can’t be improved, we’ll explain why — with transparency and without pressure.

We do things differently.
We take the time to listen, guide, and personalize your care—without pressure.

If you’re curious about hearing aids, we’re here to help you make sense of it all and move forward with confidence.

“Everybody is mumbling.”

If you’ve caught yourself saying this, you’re not alone. For many people, this is one of the earliest signs of hearing changes — especially when speech sounds unclear or blended together.

The good news? For most people, this can be improved with the right assessment and support. Clearer hearing often means easier conversations and feeling more present again.
