Meet Brittany đ
If you are considering counselling for yourself or someone you love ages 6-30, but youâre not quite sure where to start, this is your sign.
Brittany is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, with a background in youth care and experience working with children, youth, and families across a variety of settingsâincluding the Ministry of Social Services and nonprofit organizations.
She has supported individuals and families in many different capacities, including working with high-risk and vulnerable populations. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Brittany takes a person-centred approach to care, using techniques such as motivational interviewing to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered. Creating a psychologically safe space where clients feel comfortable and validated is at the core of her work.
While Brittany enjoys working with all ages, she is currently working closely with children, teens, and young adults (ages 6â30). She has a special interest in helping younger clients build skills, develop independence, and work toward meaningful goalsâwhether thatâs improving organization, creating structure, or building confidence in everyday life.
