🕰️WEAR TIME🦻🏽

Individuals who wear their hearing aids during all waking hours do significantly better than individuals who ONLY wear their hearing aids in certain situations (e.g., out for coffee, at a family gathering, or place of worship).

It’s recommended to wear your hearing aids all day, every day, with the exception of bathing, swimming, and sleeping. It’s also important to implement hearing protection in the presence of noisy environments, even if you wear hearing aids.

We hear with our brain; therefore, it can be confusing and overwhelming to be intermittently providing stimulation.

If you’re currently wearing hearing aids, ask yourself, “am I wearing my devices every day, to reap the full benefits?”

If you’re currently struggling, it may be time to have an updated hearing assessment and re-adjustment of your devices!

We’re only ONE WEEK away from our holiday hours. Our last day in the clinic of 2025 will be Tuesday, December 23rd.

Whether you’re looking to pick up supplies or planning ahead to book an appointment in the New Year, you can drop by or call the clinic before then to do so!

Warman Hearing Clinic will be open regular hours on Monday, January 5th at 9:00 am.

Since opening Warman Hearing Clinic, we’ve been transparent in communicating our holiday break well in advance to patients. Our manufacturers close during the holiday season and we use this time to allow our team to be with their loved ones too. We look forward to seeing you soon!

You have been diagnosed with hearing loss and you want to explore your options, so let’s chat funding!

✅YES—we work with all major third-party funding sources.

Warman Hearing Clinic is licensed to provide services to:
• Individuals who are covered by: Workers Compensation Board (WCB), Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB), Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), SK Supplementary Health Benefits

Warman Hearing Clinic offers:
• 0% payment plan options (with no credit check) for private pay patients. Our clinic provides you with all documentation needed to be reimbursed by any private insurance plans.

*NOTE: some private insurance plans require not only a prescription from a Registered Audiologist, but also the devices to be fit by a Registered Audiologist.

Therefore, it’s important to check the requirements of your insurance, prior to booking your hearing care appointment! It’s important to know if you have any coverage, prior to exploring your options. It’s also important to know who you’ll be working with (and their credentials) before going through the process (and potentially not receiving your reimbursement).

In Saskatchewan, there is no additional taxes on hearing aids (they are considered a medical device) and can be claimed under the “medical expense” portion on your income tax.

It’s important to check your benefits, to understand the requirements of reimbursement, and explore public funding options. Our Registered Audiologist is happy to answer any of your specific funding questions at your next appointment.

Treatment options for hearing loss should NOT be a “one-size-fits-all” approach. At Warman Hearing Clinic, we pride ourselves in providing an array of options for our patients to meet their unique needs, lifestyle, and budget.

There truly is no BEST treatment option on the market. But what does matter is:
- The credentials of the person you’re working with (i.e., who you’re working with matters)
- The options available (i.e., an array of brands/manufacturers to meet your unique needs/lifestyle)
- The aftercare process (i.e., there should be ongoing support/maintenance)

Every patient is unique; therefore, we ensure patients feel apart of the treatment/selection process. We provide the pros and cons, to help patients make informed/empowered decisions about their hearing health.
