It is important to love and take care of ourselves, for if we do not nurture ourselves we cannot fully offer our best self to anyone else.
Today acquire a pink rose and place it in a vase on your altar. Pink roses are often associated with appreciation and gratitude. On a piece of paper, write down five things you are proud of and admire about yourself, Phrase each one in the second person (You are..."). Stand before your altar, look into the small mirror, and recite the list to yourself. Then place the list in front of the rose in the vase. whenever you are feeling down on yourself, review the list.

The second day after Imbolc was never ceremonial. It was practical.

In the Old Ways, once the fire had been acknowledged, the question was simple.

Can you live in alignment with what you recognised yesterday?

This day was about observation, not action.

The ancestors believed.
Fire reveals truth, but behaviour confirms it.
What cannot be lived will cool quickly.
Integrity is proven in the ordinary moments that follow.

Imbolc lit the fire.
February 2nd shows whether it was real.

High Priestess & Medium Knowing. 🧙

For the priestess, this is the day
embodiment.
No declarations.
No vows.

Just presence.

For the medium, this is where discernment sharpens.
What was imagination fades.
What was true remains steady.

You may notice.
Less emotional charge.
A grounded clarity.
A quieter but stronger sense of self.
A natural reordering of priorities.

This is not a loss of energy.
It is energy settling into form.
