RIDE for LIFE

RIDE for LIFE This annual event raises funds to help provide financial assistance to families at a time of crisis. This year allows us to be hosing our 17th annual ride.

Ride for Life is a group of people with a similar interest; those being their love for horseback riding and helping people that have a need. During the past 17 yers the money raised through our charity has been abloe to provide assistance toa number of people across Manitoba, Saskatchewan and as far as Slave Lake, Alberta. Individuals and families from each of these places required assistance for medical expenses or for starting over after their home and belongings were destroyed in a fire. We once again depend on the community's generosity and support. Again, we can not thank you enough for your participation and contribution in our previous rides, either by riding, purchasing tickets for our supper and dance or by donating or purchasing items from our auction.

-everyone bought 50/50 and traeger tickets (50/50 was won by Terry Fiarchuk and the traeger by Jeff Janczyszyn)
-all the auction bidders & those that purchased items
-Sandy Lake Fire Department for working security at the door
-our band Ridin' High
-Terry Woychyshyn for being our auctioneer
-Sally Shurvell for being our medic and Kelly Knight for accompanying her
-Provincial Ex of Manitoba for lending us their hand sanitizers and dispensers
-Dennis Rogasky for doing the historic bus tour
-Nesbitt Publishing for discount on poster design
-the hardworking kitchen committee who once again did an incredible job of organizing, prepping and cooking all the food
-and last but not least the all the volunteers, there is no way we could do this event without all of you, from planning to set up, collecting auction prizes, working shifts, cooking roasts, clean up, helping with the installation of the dance floor and air conditioner in the hall

If we missed anyone we truly apologize - we are so grateful to have so many wonderful volunteers that show up every year!
