I see women every week who are eating well, exercising, trying the things that used to work… and feeling frustrated when nothing shifts.

GLP-1 medications are getting a lot of attention right now. Some women feel hopeful, some feel hesitant, many feel confused.

This workshop is to help you make an informed decision.

We’ll talk about what these medications actually do in the body, what happens to muscle and metabolism, and where lifestyle medicine matters long term.

We’re live at 4:30 pm on Wednesday Feb 25. We will send the recording to those who register.

If this has been on your mind, please bring your questions and join the conversation.

Consistency over perfection is crucial because it fosters sustainable, long-term progress, whereas the pursuit of perfection often leads to paralysis, burnout, and quitting.

As Winston Churchill noted, “Perfection is the enemy of progress.” Embracing consistency allows you to accept imperfections as part of the journey, making the process more enjoyable and leading to greater success in the long run.

No matter which health habits you are working on, staying consistent builds lasting habits. Here are 10 tips to be consistent:

* Regularly assess your priorities
* Make it a part of your regular routine
* Learn from who things go wrong
* Stay flexible to change
* Don’t be hard on yourself
* Tackle the task when you’re in the right mindset
* Check in frequently with how you’re feeling
* Do a little bit each day no matter how small
* If it goes wrong, start again tomorrow
* Find joy in the process

The conversation on GLP-1 has become mainstream.

There’s a lot of marketing and a lot of promise.

And while these medications can be helpful tools for the right person, the bigger questions matter:

• What happens to your metabolism long term?
• How does it compare to lifestyle medicine?
• What happens when you stop?
• Who is it actually appropriate for?

Before deciding whether it belongs in your plan, it’s important to understand the full picture.

Join me February 25 at 4:30 pm ET for a live online conversation.
If you can’t attend live, register anyway and you’ll receive the recording.

After our last workshop, it was clear this topic requires nuance. Not hype, not fear, not oversimplified answers.

If you’re considering GLP-1s, here’s what actually matters:

• What is it doing to your metabolism beyond appetite suppression?
• What happens to muscle, hormones, gut health, and long-term metabolic resilience?
• How do you decide confidently without feeling pressured either way?

Dr. K has spent the last decade working with weight loss resistance, especially in women 40+. This workshop is not pro or anti medication. It’s about informed decisions rooted in physiology.

The Vagus Nerve is the primary parasympathetic nerve to the body. It connects the brain to the heart, lungs, gut, immune system and inflammation pathways.
Over 80% of its fibres send information from the body to the brain, not the other way around.
This is your rest, repair and regulate system.
Under active vagus nerve symptoms include chronic anxiety, poor stress tolerance, digestive issues, shallow breathing, poor sleep, cold hands and feet, emotional reactivity or shutdown, and low heart rate variability.
This is not a mindset issue, it’s a neurophysiological issue.
Activate the vagus nerve with slow nasal breathing, humming or singing, cold exposure to the face, gargling, meditation, slow rhythmic movement and gentle diaphragm work.

You don’t have to be “for” or “against” medication to ask better questions about your health. Lifestyle medicine still matters. Nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress support are foundational. Always.

And for some people, GLP-1 can also be part of the picture.

In this live webinar, Dr. K will walk through how GLP-1 works, who it may support, where it can fall short, and how it compares with lifestyle-based care.

Is GLP-1 a miracle drug, or is that the wrong question?

The conversation around GLP-1 has become increasingly polarized. On one side, it’s framed as a quick fix. On the other, it’s dismissed outright.

The reality is more nuanced.

In this live webinar, Dr. K will walk through:
• who GLP-1 may be appropriate for
• when caution is warranted
• how lifestyle medicine remains foundational
• and how to think through your options with clarity, not pressure
