Neck pain and stiffness are incredibly common — especially if you spend long hours at a desk, on your phone, or in positions that keep your upper back rounded 🫠💥

Often, the neck itself isn’t the only issue. Limited mobility through the upper back and weakness in the muscles that support your neck and shoulders can play a big role.

Try adding these 3 exercises into your routine:
1️⃣ Prayer stretch
2️⃣ Bent over rows
3️⃣ Deep neck flexor push-ups

A good rule of thumb: combine mobility + strength to create lasting change, not just temporary relief.

✨ GET TO KNOW OUR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS: Heather ✨

Meet Heather — she loves working with active individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and goals, helping them move better, recover well, and get back to doing what they love.

As a former varsity runner, Heather has a special interest in helping runners return to training after injury or extended time away from sport. She works with athletes to rebuild the strength and resilience needed to support future training and running goals.

Heather also specializes in concussion rehabilitation. Whether a concussion happened days, weeks, or even years ago, she is highly trained in several of the new evidence-based technologies we use at Depth to help monitor symptoms and track recovery progress.

Her treatment style focuses on staying active whenever possible and using passive treatments when needed. Heather combines hands-on therapy, electroacupuncture, and targeted exercise to help people move well and return to activity safely.

Her favourite part of being a physiotherapist? Seeing people achieve their goals — big or small — and watching them get back to feeling like themselves again.

Starting March 2nd to May 2nd, our 8-week Hockey Pre-Tryout Prep Program is built to strategically prepare athletes for the physical demands of late-April tryouts — so they step on the ice feeling explosive, conditioned, sharp, and ready to compete for a roster spot.

Lift Like a Mother is an 8-week functional strength series designed for moms 6+ weeks postpartum who are ready to rebuild from the inside out.
