A racing heart sparks worry — which fuels even more anxiety — until it feels hard to find calm.

When you notice those feelings building, try pausing and gently acknowledging:

💭 “I’m noticing my body reacting — it doesn’t mean I’m in danger.”

Choosing someone to walk alongside you in your mental-health journey doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.

Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to help narrow it down:
• Do you prefer in-person therapy, or would online sessions feel more comfortable?
• What kind of issue are you seeking support for? Does the therapist have experience with that?
• Does your insurance cover it? Knowing the cost and logistics helps to reduce stress later.

It’s surprising how burnout often sneaks in without the usual “crisis” moments. You might feel tired even after a good night’s sleep, notice more headaches or muscle aches, or find yourself getting sick more often.

Mentally and emotionally, you may find it harder to concentrate, more irritable, or less interest in things you used to enjoy.

🧘‍♀️ Here’s something you can do today:
• Check in with your body – how does it feel physically and emotionally?
• Make space for small rest, nourishment, and movement.
• Reach out – whether that’s a friend, colleague, or a counsellor – you don’t have to do this alone.
