Residents and family members rang in the New Year a little early this morning with the wonderful Kevin Coates & Don! We sang, ate some great food and most importantly, counted down to 2026 together as a Parkwood community!

LTC residents enjoyed a wonderful week of Christmas parties for each of our home areas. We enjoyed Christmas carols, yummy refreshments and of course, the Recreation elves were hard at work delivering hand-picked gifts to each resident! 🎁

Thank you so much to everyone who took a tag from our kindness tree or supported us in any way, we are so appreciative of the generosity of our community.

Parkwood is definitely filled with lots of smiles and Christmas cheer! ✨

Parkwood residents enjoyed showing off all of their hard work over the last few months at our Jingle & Jive performance this morning! We danced, sang carols and had tons of fun all together as a community!

Our annual Christmas Bazaar & Dinner was a huge success yesterday!

Residents, families and friends enjoyed lots of great food and did some very important Christmas shopping, all while supporting our residents! Thank you so much to everyone who came out yesterday or supported us in any way, it was a fun day with lots of Christmas cheer!

Our annual Christmas kindness trees have started up again here at Parkwood! These trees allow the Parkwood community to come together to buy specific, personalized gifts for each resident that they would appreciate!

You are welcome to take a tag (or as many as you'd like) off the tree by the entrance in Retirement or LTC, buy the corresponding gift and bring it to the reception desk or recreation office by Dec 10th if you'd like to join in!

Only 1 week until our big Christmas Bazaar!!

Come on out to the Retirement Suites Recreation room on Thursday, November 27th from 10am-5pm to 'shop 'til you drop'! There will be lots of yummy baking, neat crafts & gifts, a penny sale, hot chocolate & more! Proceeds go towards our resident special events!

We're ready to kick off the Christmas season with some festive fun! See you there!

Staff and furry friends of Parkwood proudly wore their Blue Jays jerseys, gear or blue and white to show their team spirit! Our home came together to celebrate Canada’s team with smiles, cheers, and true Blue Jays pride. 💙

Our residents braved the cool autumn weather (and a bit of rain) and had lots of fun on a hayride, exploring the farm and scouting out the best pumpkin!
