Charlie is one of our lovely senior patients. He is almost 14 years old and is always a perfect gentleman at the clinic. ❤️😍
Older kitties sometimes require more frequent vet visits. Some things to watch out for with senior pets that should be assessed by a vet:
-Trouble jumping onto furniture or doing stairs
-Changes in eating habits
-Increased drinking/urinating
-Inappropriate elimination
-Any other major behaviour change

Rocky is a senior kitty who was diagnosed with diabetes. Feline diabetes affects about 1% of cats, usually in their older years. Common symptoms include increased thirst, increased hunger, excessive urination, and weight loss. Strangely, male cats are more likely to become diabetic.
