We are privileged to have Author & Pastor Paul Tautges close out the conference this weekend with his talk on "Growing in Christlikeness Together."

Paul serves as senior pastor at Church in Cleveland, Ohio. He has authored or edited over 70 books, including Remade: Embracing Your Complete Identity in Christ, Anxiety: Knowing God’s Peace, A Small Book for the Hurting Heart, and Counseling One Another. He is also the consulting editor of the LifeLine Mini-Book series from Shepherd Press. Paul is a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition, a teaching fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and has completed the Formation Certificate from CCEF.

In this breakout session Sarah will help us look at the why, who, what and how of friendship. We will examine what scripture says about friendship and how friendship with God is the foundation for our friendship with others. We will consider the content of a good biblical friendship and learn some skills in growing in our friendships

One week from today, we will be gathering together at Vineland Free Reformed church for Insight's 4th annual E4:12 Conference. During the second breakout session on Saturday, November 15, Matt King will share his talk entitled "Shaming Shame."

Shame is a universal human experience. It is a unique emotion that robs and destroys our relationship with ourselves, others, and ultimately with God. In this session, we will examine scriptural examples of shame as well as its impact on relationships. We will find that God specializes in Shaming Our Shame to allow us to walk joyfully and freely in relationships.

On day 2 of our November conference, we have a new guest speaker, Alysia Whiteside, who will share her insights on "Knowing and Being Known in Suffering. Alysia has personally experienced the sustaining grace of God through deep suffering, including childhood trauma and chronic illness. For years, she sought healing through secular means until God, in His mercy, led her to Himself. Through an abiding relationship with Christ, Alysia has come to know lasting hope, comfort, and the redemptive purpose of suffering. Alysia holds a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Heritage College & Seminary and is certified in Biblical Counselling. If you've had questions on this topic or are in need of encouragement in the midst of suffering you won't want to miss this Breakout Session!
