There will be days when your heart feels light again.
Days when you laugh, make plans to do something fun, enjoy a meal with family or friends and feel genuinely happy.
And then, in the very same moment you will think of them ... and wish they were here to share in it with you.
This doesn't mean you are doing grief wrong.
Joy does not mean you have forgotten. Smiling does not mean you have moved on. Having a good day does not mean your love has faded.
It simply means that love and loss can exist in the same space.
You are allowed to feel grateful for today and still long for yesterday.
