This week's version of Thankful Thursday is dedicated to our incredible funeral directors, Melody and Hannah, who recently received a heartfelt thank-you card from a family we had the honor of serving.

"Thank you so much for making this difficult time so much easier. Your guidance and your attention to all the details was truly appreciated. Your answer to our calls was reassuring. We are very pleased with how everything turned out in honor of our mom. From the visitation, the service in the chapel and the drive to the cemetery. Moments like these remind us that what we do is more than a service - it's a calling. We are so thankful for our amazing team , who show up every single day with empathy, grace and genuine care for every family they meet. 🌿

Our amazing team spent the morning helping with the Welland Food Drive and once again our WFH family and our community reminded us what kindness truly looks like.

We celebrated Hannah’s 2nd year Anniversary with us this week. She started here as a student getting a feel for the industry and the career she was interested in. Next she went away to Sudbury to attend College Boreal and she completed the Funeral Services Education Program. She returned to us for her apprenticeship and she successfully obtained her Class 1 Funeral Director License this past October. We are blessed to have her as part of our Welland Funeral Home family and we are grateful for her hard work ethic her love and compassion for the families we serve and for her drive to grow into a leadership role within our family. Thanks for all you do and for all that you are Hannah. We love you and we are grateful for you ❤️
