John is a certified Heart and Stroke Foundation instructor providing CPR and First aid training for the Province of Prince Edward Island. From 1 on 1 training to large groups, what ever your needs be we can accommodate. John has been providing training since the early 90's and continues to teach as it is his passion to educate the community on life saving abilities. Mitchell's First Aid Services also volunteers First Aid coverage for many annual events for different organizations such as; Boys and Girls Club of Summerside, Public School Board Athletics, Summerside Atlanticade and many others. Good morning all. It's been a busy week of training. Good afternoon everyone. Today we stopped by PEI Ground Search and Rescue to drop off a donation for there Rescue team. Mitchell's First aid Services and Zoll Canada has donated a Zoll AED 3 and Trama bag /caring Case. We will also provide the training at no charge to the group. In the photo is Jason Blackman President/Ellen Collier Training officer/David Condon Member. Missing from the photo is Vince Gervais from Zoll Canada.
To date, we have donated 7 Zoll AED 3s to police departments and community businesses. Thanks to all who have help us to save lives on PEI.. Stay tuned more donations to be made!!

The new Ontario law mandating life-saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at large construction sites is now in effect. And Essex-Windsor EMS is still offering free tutorial and information sessions to help area construction companies comply with the legislation and learn more about AEDs. CCS Engineering of Windsor is the latest company in the region to request such sessions. Read more about it:

A great big Thank you to Vince Gervais from Zoll Canada for help with supporting Fire Prevention week . We will be at the Miscouce school tomorrow with our trucks to show the students how things work. Vince purchase all of our candy and chips we hand out at this event. Today we are at the Boys and Girls Club of Summerside on Heros day !! We took the time to bring Fire trucks and Rescue fast response also City of Summerside fire department and City police as well. We gave tour to the kids and showed them how our trucks and police vehicles work !! Big Shout out to Kenny Blanchard of the Summerside fire department for bringing one of there trucks to demonstrate all of the hoses and all the apparatus that is on there, job well done. also, Huge thank you to Kenny Gillis Constable Gillis of the city of Summerside Police department for coming in on one of his days off and volunteering his day to show the police vehicle to the children of the Summerside Boys and Girls club !! Big thank you to the miscouche fire Miscouche Fire Dept. For sending their fast response vehicle to demonstrate as well!! Thanks for having us Boys& Girls club. See you next ring
