A sneak peek behind the scenes of a Reiki session with our wellness practitioner, Trudy.

REIKI is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that originated in Japan.

The word “Reiki” translates to “universal life energy.” It is based on the idea that this energy flows through all living things and supports physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a massage table. The practitioner lightly places their hands on or just above specific areas of the body. Each position is typically held for several minutes.

Sessions are quiet and relaxing, and many people experience deep calm or even fall asleep.

What does it FEEL like? Experiences vary from person to person. Common sensations include:

✨Tingling or gentle pulsing
✨Deep relaxation
✨Emotional release
✨A sense of peace or lightness

BEHIND THE LOGO…

We recently revealed our updated branding that reflects our expansion into COUNTY WELLNESS CENTER… and while it may at first appear like a new logo, it’s so much more than that. It tells you the story of our practice and the holistic approach to all the work that we do. 📖

Since chiropractic is the backbone of our practice and everything we do here is rooted in your nervous system, we wanted a brand that illustrates the connection between your brain and your body. That’s why you’ll see a flourishing flower in our new logo, which reflects what happens when our nervous system and body are functioning optimally: the stem reflects our beautiful spine, the Poppy reflects the brain, and the additional flowers on the side reflect all of the nerves that come from our spinal cord to control the entire body. This upward motion of the flourishing plant reflects the beautiful growth and the pathway to abundance that are possible when your entire nervous system and body are functioning optimally. ✨️

If you look closely, you’ll also notice how the logo also reflects the story of our founder (Dr. Heather!)’s family - because at the heart of it all, County Wellness is here to nourish your family.
