Update on Clinic

We are currently closed for walk-in appointments for unpanelled patients. We are working hard to get our meet and greets completed and follow-up with results for paneled patients or for those who have already been seen through the clinic.

We will post on our page if we are taking walk-in patients. Please do not call the clinic to request a walk-in appointment if you do not see a posting stating that we have walk-in availability that day. Our phone lines are currently overloaded, and patients cannot get through to us.

Similarly, please do not contact the Wembley Town Hall Office regarding problems contacting the clinic or scheduling with the clinic. Please leave a detailed voicemail with your callback information or e-mail us.

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to work to get the clinic up to full operations.

Our dedicated admin team continues to work on contacting all of the people on our waitlist, and are reaching out by email to send the intake packages.

We have received feedback that our email messages may be going into the junk folder.

We continue to ask that you do not call to ask about the status of your application to ensure our existing patients are able to get through.

Thank you to everyone who reached out to join our intake list! We have reached our capacity for this round of patient intake applications. We appreciate the ongoing patience as our small team continues to work hard to provide care to the area.

Please continue to follow our page if you are interested in applying as we hope to offer future intake dates dependent on how quickly our team can work through these ones.

We will reach out to everyone who has successfully applied over the next few weeks to months. We continue to ask that you do not call our clinic about your pending applications to ensure that current patients and walk-in clients can reach us.

Power is back on!

We have some capacity for walk-in appointments today. Please call the clinic to book in if interested.

We are currently without power at the clinic- this is a known outage for the town of Wembley.

Unfortunately, all booked appointments will need to be rescheduled for when the power is back on. We are going to do our best to update affected patients and will post and update when we have power again!

We are excited to announce that the clinic will officially open today! We are in the process of booking meet and greets with those who have handed in their application, and greatly appreciate your patience as we work to get everyone booked.

We are also excited to announce that we will be offering “walk-in” appointments from 9am to 9pm today. Please contact the clinic at 1-825-283-0050 to book into an available walk-in appointment!

***Please note that we currently do not have access to Netcare and are unable to look up past test results or past prescriptions- please bring a list of medications or pill containers with you, if required***

We would like to take a minute to extend a huge thank you for all the continued support and patience as we work to get the clinic operational.

A quick update: our initial 600 application forms have been spoken for at this time. If you have been contacted by phone or e-mail to pick up an application, please do this as soon as possible.

Please stay tuned for updates, as we will be planning another intake date in the new year, once we have gotten all the initial applicants settled in.

Also, we will be offering walk-in appointments (first come first serve) that can be booked by calling in to the clinic once we are officially open!

Meet your NP Team!

Chantelle Gray, MN-NP

Chantelle has been a Family/All Ages Nurse Practitioner for two years. She was born in Grande Prairie, AB and raised primarily in Fort St. John, BC. Growing up in the Peace Region, has given her a first-hand glimpse at the challenges faced by patients trying to access primary health care services in this area. This initially inspired her to become a nurse practitioner, and has fuelled a passion for preventative health care, mental health, women's health, and chronic disease management. She looks forward to working with her patients to achieve their health and wellness goals!

Tegan Ruether, MN-NP

Tegan grew up in the region, and is originally from Fairview. She grew up on a grain/cattle farm and she values the sense of community in our smaller northern towns.

She started her career as a rural emergency nurse and went on to graduate from Athabasca University’s Family/All ages NP program in 2019.

She remains dedicated to lifelong learning, and is always trying to stay up to date on evidence based practice. This is supported by her passion for training nurse practitioner students.

Her interests include skin conditions, women’s health, mental health and addictions, chronic pain, and chronic disease management.
