As we settle into November, you may start to experience some quieter moments, which in turn gives you time to reflect and perhaps to sit still with your thoughts.

Are you like me in that you like to keep busy? Does the thought of sitting still bring up all kinds of feelings - anxiousness, guilt, maybe even sadness?

As humans, we tend to think that being busy is a sign of success, productivity, and character. It could also mean that we are using "busy" to avoid dealing with feelings, especially if we are in the midst of grief and loss.


As the holidays approach, we invite you to join us on December 10 for Life After Loss - The Holidays. This event is being held at Kerri's Cafe & Bakery in Westlock at 7 pm.

Our evening includes:

* Lighting of candles in memory of those we have lost

* A message of Hope (non denominational)

* Music

* Light refreshments

Feel free to bring a photo of your loved ones to share with the guests.
