Well placed scars is part of the evolution to plastic surgery.

What separates a good tummy tuck from a great one.

Of course patient factors are number one. Beautiful bone structure, little visceral fat, good skin quality, just to name a few.

Great post operative care. Garments massages and posture exercises are also key.

For the surgery part, a well planned and placed scar, a customized skin excision, and most importantly, expertly done lipo. Lipo is a skill that is long and hard to learn and during surgery it requires effort, time, patience, and sweat to do it right.

A good way to decide on which surgeon to go see is by looking at a lot of their before and afters. Every patient is different but at least you’ll get an idea on the « style » of surgery they perform. Shopping around is a good thing and we all shop around for much less important things than your surgery!

A lipoabdominoplasty or tummy tuck is still the only way to remove stretched out skin and repair muscle stretched during pregnancy.

Working out and ab exercises alone, in some people, cannot flatten the abdomen. Stretched out skin too can only be surgically excised if it’s bothersome.

A tummy tuck and lipo can enhance your own curves. This patient already had a beautiful hourglass shape. Her surgery got rid of the extra skin and fat that was bothering her, while keeping her own amazing silhouette.

She wanted to add some volume to her breasts and DID NOT WANT BREAST LIFT SCARS. So she opted for a breast augmentation and we used dual plane placement and internal bra to help perk up the ni**le from the inside. This gives a more natural shape and position.
