For those who are new here — welcome 🤍

My name is Dr. Sandra McGill, and I’m a plastic surgeon based in Montreal, Quebec. I’ve been in practice since 2006, with nearly two decades of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.

After earning my medical degree at Queen’s and completing my residency in plastic surgery at McGill University, I built a fully private surgical practice designed to offer personalized, comprehensive care in a dedicated setting.

Over the years, my practice has evolved alongside my patients. I specialize in:

👉🏼 Body contouring, particularly after pregnancy and significant weight loss
👉🏼 Breast surgery — from reductions, lifts, and augmentations to complex revision cases
👉🏼 Facial rejuvenation procedures, including eyelid surgery and facelifts

Nearly 20 years in, I still feel incredibly grateful to do this work every day.

Thank you for being here.

The internal bra isn’t just one stitch: it’s a layered support system.

Layer 1: builds the foundation.
Layer 2: shapes and contours.
Layer 3: refines, smooths, and reduces tension.

That final deep dermal layer plays a key role in keeping scars tucked in the fold and minimizing stress on the T-junction during healing.

Technique matters. Details matter. Healing matters.

Even on “small” patients, creating harmonious curves takes time, precision, and careful planning.

It requires technique, patience, and an eye for balance.
It’s not about how much you remove, but how you sculpt, creating natural transitions and results that age well as the body inevitably changes over time.

That’s why each case is approached individually, and why a consultation is essential to establish a personalized treatment plan and a precise cost.

📍 Considering liposuction or body contouring?
A consultation is the best way to discuss goals, options, and expectations.

Neuromodulators are often perceived as simple or “routine.”
In reality, they require medical expertise, precision, and sound clinical judgment.

This is why who injects you matters. 🩺✨

If you’re considering neuromodulator injections, take the time to ask questions and choose a qualified, experienced injector.

Scars are real. 🤍
But with time and care, they soften, fade, and become thin, pale lines.
Not flaws. Quiet reminders of how far you’ve come.

✨ Thank you to my patient for sharing her journey and trusting me with her care.

Almost a year ago, I underwent my own plastic surgery journey: upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer.

Was I a good patient? 😅
✔️ I followed instructions (mostly)
✔️ I trusted my surgeon
❌ I overanalyzed swelling
❌ I checked the mirror… a lot

Did I learn anything?
The numbness around your eyelashes is real, and oddly unsettling.

Being the patient added another layer of insight into how I approach care, reassurance, and follow-up. It reminded me how vulnerable, emotional, and human this process can feel, even when you know the science.

Going through this personally also reinforced what years of practice have shown me: the eyes are central to facial rejuvenation, and eyelid surgery can be truly transformative.

👉🏼 There’s a reason blepharoplasty is the most commonly performed aesthetic surgical procedure worldwide and its popularity continues to rise.

💬 Feel free to comment or DM if you have any questions about my journey or the procedures themselves.

A native Montrealer, Dr. McGill completed her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.Hon) and Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degrees at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. After graduating from medical school, she returned to Montreal to complete a residency in Plastic Surgery at McGill University. In 2006, she became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and joined the Plastic Surgery division at Hôpital Cité de la Santé in Laval Quebec, where her practice focused on breast reconstruction. Her contributions were instrumental in improving patient education and access to immediate breast reconstruction. She introduced innovative surgical techniques and tools that significantly improved the care of cancer patients. Ever devoted to her private practice, Dr. McGill continues to hone her particular interest and experience in cosmetic breast surgery including breast augmentation, short scar breast lift/reduction as well as advanced body contouring techniques including tummy tucks, liposculpture and fat transfer. Her enduring and endearing strengths include a meticulous surgical technique, a balanced esthetic vision and extensive experience.
