Grateful for all the Valentine’s cards coming in for our residents 💕 Thank you for helping spread the love!
We’re still accepting more—because the more, the merrier 💌
Valentine’s Day Card Campaign
At Weyburn Midtown Care Home, our goal this Valentine’s Day is simple but heartfelt: we want our residents to feel remembered, valued, and loved.
With that in mind, we came up with the idea of collecting Valentine’s cards from across Canada. Whether near or far, each card represents a reminder to our residents that they are cared for and not forgotten. Even if this feels like a big dream, we believe it can become a reality with the help of our community—here in Weyburn and beyond.
We are reaching out to schools, churches, community groups, organizations, families, and individuals who are willing to help us make this campaign possible. Our hope is to collect as many Valentine’s cards as we can and personally give them to our 43 residents on Valentine’s Day.
Handwritten Valentine cards would be especially meaningful. Children are welcome and encouraged to draw pictures or make DIY Valentine cards, but store-bought cards are absolutely fine as well. We kindly ask that greetings and the sender’s name be written inside each card.
We are truly hoping and wishing to receive as many cards as possible, as we know this small gesture will bring joy, warmth, and cherished memories to our residents.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Sincerely,
Michelle Tomaneng
