WHO'S MISLEADING WHO?⁣ 🧐⁣⁣⁣

Dairy farmers (with Government support) have spent an outrageous amount of marketing money to indoctrinate you into believing that calcium comes only or mostly from milk.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Leafy greens, green veg beans, tofu, sesame seeds and even oranges contain lots of usable calcium.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ And here's 2 very good reasons why they are the far superior source of calcium:⁣⁣

1️⃣ Many green vegetables have *calcium absorption* rates of over 50%, compared with about 32% for milk.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2️⃣ Animal protein *induces calcium excretion* in your urine. When you eat a plant based diet your calcium retention is better so you need less.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Animal protein ingestion results in a heavy acid load in the blood. This sets off a series of reactions in which calcium is released from your bones to help neutralize the acid - resulting in calcium loss.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Just another reason why high protein diets (animal or plant based) are unnatural and ill advised (while also being pointless).⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Polarisation and hyper simplification of messaging SELLS.⁣⁣⁣⁣

But it's also selling your health up the river.⁣⁣⁣⁣

⚠️ DON’T JUST ‘CUT CARBS’⁣ > Cutting out carbohydrates from your diet could put you at increased risk of a deficiency in certain nutrients, leading to health problems, unless you're able to make up for the nutritional shortfall with healthy substitutes.⁣⁣⁣ Replacing carbohydrates with fats and higher fat sources of protein will increase your intake of saturated fat, which can will the amount of cholesterol in your blood – a risk factor for heart disease (the worlds biggest killer).⁣⁣⁣⁣

Try to limit the amount of processed sugary foods you eat and instead include healthier sources of carbohydrate in your diet, such as whole-grains, POTATOES 🙂, vegetables, fruits and legumes.⁣ The healthiest and longest living populations on the planet all have one thing in common - a DIET HIGH IN CARBOHYDRATES⁣🌱⁣⁣
