Harley and Dr. Dom stopped by our Squamish clinic site this weekend to see how things are progressing, and it’s exciting to see the space starting to take shape.

After months of planning and design, the construction phase is well underway. Every step brings us closer to opening a calm, modern clinic designed to support family medicine and integrated care for the Squamish community.

We can’t wait to welcome patients into this space.

It’s hard to account for the hundreds upon hundreds of hours.

Actually… at this point, we’re pretty sure it’s 10,000+.

In meetings.
In charts.
In problem-solving.
In leadership conversations.
In the quiet decisions no one sees.
And yes — in the details of how our spaces look, feel, and function… including the clinic we’re building next.

Dr. Danielle Lewis is our Medical Director and co-founder of Creekside Health.

She helped build this clinic from the ground up — not just the walls, but the standard. The systems. The culture. The expectation of care.

Leadership in medicine isn’t loud.
It’s steady.
It’s consistent.
It’s accountable.

Three years into our expanded family medicine presence, we’re reminded that growth doesn’t happen without someone holding the bar high behind the scenes.

Dr. Lewis does.

Thank you for the hours.
For the vision.
For the standard.

It’s called Dr. Mom.

But it’s highly recommended by this Dr. Dad.

Dr. Scott Nicol, our chiropractor and full-time parent, calls this the MVP of parenting.

Dry skin.
Winter rashes.
Post-bath flare-ups.
Mystery kid irritation.

This soothing beta cream with concentrated beta-glucan lives in a lot of Sea to Sky households for a reason.

Gentle.
Effective.
Family approved.

Sometimes the real clinic MVP isn’t in the treatment room.

It’s in the bathroom drawer.

Available at Creekside Health.

It started with Dr. G.

In February 2023, Dr. Paulina Gasiorowska joined Creekside as our first full-time family physician. She began paneling patients, and the rest of the team grew from there.

It felt big then.
In February 2023, Dr. Paulina Gasiorowska joined Creekside as our first full-time family physician. She began panelling patients, and the rest of the team grew from there.

Three years later, look at what’s grown.

We now have:

• A full family medicine team
• Multiple physicians
• A walk-in clinic
• A sports medicine doctor
• A registered nurse
• A truly integrative team under one roof
• And we’re building a new clinic in Squamish

What began with one physician has become a full primary care presence in the Sea to Sky.

This community needed it.
We are proud to have built it.

Thank you, Dr. Paulina, for helping lay the foundation.
And thank you to every patient who trusted us along the way.

Here’s to continuing to grow — together.

Iron: The Most Common Deficiency in the World

In developed countries, 10–20% of women of reproductive age are iron-deficient — and rates are higher worldwide
Nearly 1 in 3 people globally are anemic, with iron deficiency being the leading cause.
Up to 40% of pregnant women worldwide are affected by anemia.

You do not need to be anemic to feel the effects of low iron.

Even without anemia, low iron can contribute to:
• Fatigue
• Brain fog
• Hair thinning
• Shortness of breath
• Reduced exercise tolerance
• Cold intolerance
• Mood changes

Iron support at Creekside Health

For patients with confirmed deficiency, we offer iron IV therapy in-clinic when appropriate.

This is our favourite oral iron supplement: Ferapro

Staff Favourite

This one never lasts long on our shelves.

Eminence Stone Crop Cleansing Oil has quietly become a team go-to at Creekside. It melts away makeup, sunscreen, and the day without stripping your skin.

What we love:
• Nourishing but never heavy
• Leaves skin soft, not tight
• Suitable for all skin types
• Smells fresh and natural

It’s especially perfect in Whistler’s dry climate when your skin needs cleansing and hydration at the same time.

If you’ve been curious about oil cleansing, this is the one we recommend again and again.

Available at the clinic.

Just keep swimming.

We’re so excited to welcome Shanzey to the Creekside Health counselling team.

Her work is grounded in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach that honours the whole person. Mind. Body. Cultural context. Identity. Lived experience.

She creates a collaborative space where healing moves beyond managing symptoms and toward meaningful, lasting growth.

With a research background exploring how cultural values shift throughout the immigration journey, she is especially passionate about supporting immigrants building a life in a new place. She also welcomes individuals from all backgrounds seeking grounded, empowering support.

BA in Psychology, NYU Abu Dhabi
MA in Counselling Psychology, SFU

Ask her about:
• Being a third-culture kid
• Arts and crafts as self-care
• Her chocolate chip cookie recipe

Most likely to find her on the mountain: Whistler Learning Zone.

Welcome to the team, Shanzey.

Not just an acupuncturist, Andrea has officially passed her herbalist board exam and can now register as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

This milestone represents years of study, dedication, and perseverance. Advancing her training in Chinese herbal medicine enables her to continue supporting patients with deeper knowledge and a broader scope.

If you would like to come in for acupuncture and congratulate her, Andrea has a few appointments available this week:

• Tomorrow morning
• Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3:30
• Friday at 4:30

Meet Emma, Registered Nurse (RN)

We’re continuing to expand supportive, patient-centred care at Creekside Health, with more clinical support available between practitioner visits.

Emma is now working alongside Dr. Greg Clugston and Dr. Paulina Gasiorowska to help patients stay consistent with their care plans through education, assessments, triage support, and in-clinic procedures.

Important to note: Emma does not prescribe medications, make medical diagnoses, or sign lab requisitions. When needed, she coordinates directly with your primary practitioner.

Booking: Nurse appointments are currently available only to existing patients of Dr. Greg and Dr. Paulina.

Looking ahead, we’re on track for our Squamish medical clinic opening in Summer 2026. Join the list to receive updates as we get closer.

We’re committed to strengthening access to medical care across the Sea to Sky.

108 days.

But this year, we’re not just running for the views.

We’re running for something bigger.

We’re building a team.
And we’re raising money for Crohn’s & Colitis research.

If you’ve ever dealt with gut issues…
If you’ve ever known someone navigating IBD…
If you believe better research matters…

Join us.

This is your sign to:
✔ Register for the Whistler Half
✔ Join our team
✔ Raise funds for Crohn’s & Colitis
✔ Do something hard for something meaningful

You don’t have to be “a runner.”
You just have to be willing.

Walk it. Run it. Jog it.
Train with us. Fundraise with us. Show up with us.

Let’s get as many people as possible on that start line — not just for the finish medal, but for impact.

Mountain views. Strong legs. Stronger purpose.

Comment “I’M IN” and we’ll send you the team link.

💗 Galentine’s. Valentine’s. Or just a reminder to take care of yourself. 💗

At Creekside Health, we’re a female-founded clinic built on the belief that care starts with connection, to yourself, to your body, and to the people who support you.

Whether you’re celebrating friendships, romantic love, family, or simply choosing yourself this season, we want to remind you that your health matters. Rest matters. Support matters. And tending to your nervous system, hormones, digestion, stress, and overall well-being is an act of love. Not one of indulgence.

So this is your permission slip to:
• Book the appointment you’ve been putting off
• Say yes to rest without guilt
• Prioritize your health like it’s non-negotiable
• Celebrate the people who show up for you (including you)

From our team to you, happy Galentine’s, happy Valentine’s, and here’s to caring for ourselves and each other, always. 💕
