Mountain Strength And Fitness My name is Marco and I'm a NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition (Level 1) coach. I offer both online and in-person training.

After being an overweight, food-loving couch potato throughout most of my adult life, I fell in love with fitness after becoming fed up with my lifestyle, embarking on a mission of learning and self-improvement, losing nearly 30 pounds, and gaining an appreciable amount of muscle in the process. By placing attention on the vitally-interdependent areas of training, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle; I'll help you achieve your goal physique with a structured, intelligent and flexible, training and nutrition program that suits your everyday life. My goal is to help you focus on the stuff that matters, filter out the fitness myths and distractions, keep you accountable, and help to empower and educate you to become self-sufficient for life, long after you move on past training with me. Do weekly meal preps overwhelm you? If so, then I have great news for you:

You don't need to prepare 100 Tupperware containers full of food. Keep it simple by doing it this way instead. You'll save a bunch of time and it's also easier to track meals consisting of single-ingredient foods.

1️⃣ Cook 1-2 large batches of each of the following single ingredients foods. Don't forget to season them for flavor, using your favorite dry rubs or spices:

✅ Lean protein (chicken, extra lean ground beef, ground turkey, fish, etc.)

✅ Starchy carb (sweet or regular potatoes, rice, quinoa, beans, lentils, etc.)

✅ Vegetable (aim for variety here - fresh, canned, or frozen are all fine)

2️⃣ Treat your batch of food like an assembly line at Subway or Chipotle's and enjoy different plate combinations.

✅ A balanced fat loss meal consists of 1/4 plate of protein, 1/4 plate of starchy carbs and 1/2 plate of veggies

3️⃣ Minimize the use of high-calorie fats like butter mayo, oils, creamy dressings, etc. - limit them to 1 tablespoon per meal or skip them if you're eating fattier cuts of meat - opt for lower calorie/fat condiments when possible.
