What a beautiful afternoon filled with friendship, laughter, and a whole lot of love! ❤️ Our Valentine’s Day Tea Party was a wonderful celebration, complete with delicious treats, warm cups of tea, and the sweetest company.

The room was made even brighter thanks to the lovely flowers generously provided by staff from MP Ryan Turnbull — such a thoughtful gesture that brought so many smiles! 🌸

Today, Bhanu, one of our wonderful Activity Aides, shared her recent journey back to her home country of India, where she had the joy of attending two beautiful weddings 💍💃

She spoke about the rich wedding traditions, customs, and her personal experiences while being back home, giving us a glimpse into such a vibrant and meaningful celebration.

To make the afternoon even more special, Bhanu treated everyone to traditional chai ☕, samosas, and a sweet delicacy called Badana — a delicious way to bring the culture to life!

🌈 Final Day of the All Seniors Care Seniors Games! 🏅

We followed the Yellow Brick Road all the way to the finish line today, wrapping up our final competition and medal event — Jeopardy! 🧠🎉

This afternoon, we gathered for our Closing Ceremonies and were honoured to be joined by the Honourable Minister Raymond Cho,MPP of Whitby Lorne Coe, Steve Lee - Deputy Mayor & Whitby North Ward Councillor, and Regional Councillors Steve Yamada and Chris Leahy Politician — thank you for helping us close out such a magical week.

From the courage of our Lions, to the heart of our Tin Men, to the smarts of our Scarecrows, our athletes truly showed that there’s no place like home when it comes to teamwork and community — straight out of The Wizard of Oz. 💚👠

A huge thank you to all of our participants, the Health & Wellness Team, and supporters who made this week so special. We’re already clicking our ruby slippers and looking forward to next year’s Games! 🌟

🌈 Day 4 of the ASC Seniors Games brought us shuffleboard and bingo — and our athletes truly showed the heart of the Lion, the focus of the Tin Man, and the teamwork of Dorothy and friends as they aimed for the podium! 🦁🤖👠

We wrapped up the day with a special medal ceremony alongside the wonderful team from Alzheimer Society of Durham Region Thank you for joining us and supporting our residents on this journey down the Yellow Brick Road.

From steady shuffleboard shots to lucky bingo calls, it was another day full of smiles, cheers, and unforgettable moments. Onward to Day 5 — there’s no place like teamwork! 💛

🌟 Day 3 of the All Seniors Care Senior Games 🌟

Today, our journey down the Yellow Brick Road led us to Ladder Ball and Corn Hole — and wow, did our residents show their courage, heart, and teamwork (just like Dorothy’s crew in The Wizard of Oz)! 💛

We were so grateful to be joined by our friends from Abilities Centre for our medal ceremonies — thank you for helping us celebrate our amazing athletes! 🏅

A special thank you to Carrie as well, who shared some wonderful fall-prevention exercises to help keep everyone steady on their feet as we continue our adventure through Emerald City. 👟✨

From ladder ball laughs to corn hole cheers, today truly reminded us that there’s no place like home when you’re surrounded by such incredible residents, staff, and community partners. 🌈🐝

What a wonderful day of friendly competition and cheer! 💛

We kicked things off this morning with our Pétanque competition, followed by an exciting Bean Bag Toss this afternoon — our residents gave it their all and had so much fun along the way! 🏅👏

To make the day even more special, we were thrilled to welcome Sunshine Therapy Dogs to join us for our medal ceremony — lots of smiles, cuddles, and tail wags all around! 🐾🥰

Our Yellow Brick Road was busy with champions supporting champions — reminding us that there’s truly no place like home when it comes to community spirit. 🌈✨

Way to go, everyone — we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! 💛🏆

Today marked the exciting start of the All Seniors Care Senior Games, and we kicked things off in style with our Opening Ceremonies!

We were honoured to welcome Lorne Coe, Elizabeth Roy and members of City Council, who helped us officially declare the Games OPEN! ✂️👏

The hallways were filled with cheers, smiles, and our signature chant — “Bumble, bumble, bumble… bee, bee, bee!” 🐝💛 The energy was incredible as residents supported one another.

Our last day of Oz Spirit Week took us straight to Munchkin Land for some hilarious Minute to Win It games! Residents went up against staff in a series of fun, fast-paced challenges that had everyone laughing and cheering.
