Day 2 of our ASC Spring Staycation was a delicious success! 👩‍🍳🍽️

Today we hosted our MasterChef Signature Lunch, featuring our very own Chef Mei and her talented team hard at work preparing a fantastic entrée for our residents. 👏

We wrapped up the day with wonderful entertainment, along with a relaxing sangria & dessert social—the perfect ending to a great day. 🍷🍰

A big thank you to Chef Mei for all her hard work and creativity! 💛

🌊⚓ ASC Spring Staycation – Day 1: Sea Day ⚓🌊

We kicked off our Spring Staycation with a relaxing and fun-filled Sea Day! 🐚🌴

Our residents started the day testing their knowledge with some travel trivia, followed by an afternoon of creativity during Coastal Creations with Bhanu 🎨🌊

Of course, no sea day is complete without a refreshing drink! 🍹 Today’s signature feature was the tropical Blue Hawaii—a perfect taste of paradise.

We’re off to an amazing start and can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings! 🌞🌺

At yesterday’s travelling manicures, the roles were reversed in the best way! 😄

Our Memory Care resident Tom decided to take over and give Activity Aide Olivia a little pampering of her own — and he did an amazing job! 👏💖

Last night our residents enjoyed our second dinner outing—and we’re starting to think this might need to become our new Supper Club! 🍽️✨

This time, we headed out to The Brock House, where we shared great food, lots of laughs, and even better company. It’s been so wonderful seeing residents enjoy evenings out together and try something a little different from our usual outings.

Should we make this a regular thing?! 👀💬

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in the Bistro! 🍀

Our Bistro was full of Irish cheer as residents gathered to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style! 💚

From refreshing green beer 🍺 and classic Guinness to delicious shamrock shakes 🥤 and festive goodies and treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The smiles, laughter, and great company made it a truly lucky day here at Lakeridge Heights!

🍝 Resident Dinner Outing 🍽️ Last month, some of our residents suggested something a little different — a dinner outing instead of our usual lunch trips! We loved the idea and headed out to Bella Notte, where we enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with great food, laughter, and even better company.

The night was such a success that we’ve decided to keep the dinner outings going! This month, we’re looking forward to our next evening out at The Brock House.

🍀 Kicking Off Our St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations! 🍀

March is Irish Heritage Month, and we are starting the celebrations early here at Lakeridge Heights! 🇮🇪✨

We were thrilled to welcome the talented dancers from The O'Donnell School of Traditional Irish Dance who brought incredible energy, tradition, and toe-tapping fun to our residents. From the lively music to the beautiful costumes and impressive footwork, it truly felt like a little piece of Ireland right here in our theatre! 💚

Our residents loved clapping along, learning about Irish dance traditions, and celebrating the rich culture and history of Ireland together. What a wonderful way to begin the month of March!

Today we celebrated World Wildlife Day with a special and educational presentation by Brian Joyce – Mammals Are Us! 🦊🦝🦨
