Byron Street Dentistry — THIS OR THAT?
Electric Toothbrush ⚡️ or Manual Toothbrush 🪥

Which one do you choose?

Electric Toothbrush:
✔ Helps remove more plaque
✔ Great for those with limited mobility
✔ Built-in timers for better brushing habits

Manual Toothbrush:
✔ Budget-friendly
✔ Easy to travel with
✔ Just as effective when used with proper technique

No matter which you prefer, the best toothbrush is the one you’ll use twice a day!

🎃 This or That: Halloween Edition! 🎃
Halloween Chips or Sticky Candy?

We’re choosing chips! Why? Chips are easier on your teeth, they don’t stick to enamel like candy does, and they’re simpler to clean up after snacking. Sticky candy can linger and feed cavity-causing bacteria, so chips are the safer, smile-friendly option!

Which team are you on? Let us know in the comments and get ready for a fang-tastic Halloween tomorrow! 😁🦇

🎉 The day has finally come, your braces are coming off! After months (or even years) of dedication, you can finally enjoy your new smile. But what happens next?

✨ Here’s what to expect:

Mild sensitivity: Your teeth may feel a little tender as they adjust — stick to softer foods for a few days.

Your retainer matters: Wearing your retainer as directed keeps your smile straight and prevents teeth from shifting back.

Keep up great habits: Brush, floss, and visit us regularly to keep your new smile healthy and bright.

Remember, the end of braces is just the beginning of a lifetime of confident smiles! 😁💙

💖 Breast Cancer Awareness Month & Oral Health! 💖

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at Byron Street Dentistry, we want to remind everyone that oral health is part of your overall wellness. Maintaining healthy teeth and gums is especially important if you or a loved one are undergoing treatment.

🦷 Tips for oral health during cancer care:

- Brush gently twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
- Floss carefully to prevent gum irritation.
- Stay hydrated to avoid dry mouth.
- Let your dentist know about any treatments — we can help manage side effects.

Your smile is important, taking small steps can make a big difference! 💙
