โจ Kathy is retuning to the studio this Fall to offer an 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program!
There will also be a free information night on Monday, September 22 โจ
โ What is MBSR โ
A: Itโs an 8 week structured educational program that teaches participants mindfulness meditation/practices/movements, and body awareness to manage stress, chronic pain and illness. The core of MBSR is cultivating mindfulness, which is the ability to pay deliberate, non-judgemental attention to what is happening right now, including thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations.
๐ The goals of MBSR are to reduce stress and improve coping, enhance self awareness, and increase well-being
