❄️ Join us for an immersive experience into Métis heritage through this captivating cultural experience. Led by Michel, a Red River Metis citizen, you’ll embark on a snowshoe journey that brings the stories of Métis history and Michel’s childhood in Northern Manitoba to life.

🔥Warm up by a crackling fire, enjoying freshly baked bannock that you cooked yourself, covered in butter and hand-crafted jam while sipping on wild-harvested tea. To round off the experience, book an overnight stay (not included).

We're thrilled and honoured to be a finalist at the Indigenous Tourism Awards in Edmonton next week. during the International Indigenous Tourism Conference. If you don't have a ticket, there's still time. These conference are the best!

We'll be up against some pretty amazing indigenous experiences in the new tourism experience category, our Métis Kitchen Party. Anyone who has met Michel knows his passion for food. It started with an idea, then he built Rusty, our wood-fired oven and created wood-fired pizza nights. Now we’re inviting guests to join us around our family table for a Métis Kitchen Party, our new culinary experience.

Experience the fun of a traditional Métis Kitchen Party at Moon Gate! With seasonal feasts, live music, and dancing, these events bring culture and community to life. The culinary theme will work with the rhythm of the season and on occasion we'll invite performers to entertain, because what’s a kitchen party without music and dancing?! Join us around our family table for seasonal menus throughout the year.

Wish us luck at the awards ceremony. We're so excited even if we don't win.
