Yesterday of Owen Sound declared a significant weather event.
We want to let everyone know that Safe 'N Sound is open to anyone needing warmth. We are here to provide warmth to the people that are homeless, people struggling with heating bills, anyone needing a warm shower to get rid of chills, anyone with a broken furnace that can't be repaired until after the storm, and all other reasons members of the community might just need a warm place to go. If you need us, come in for a coffee and a chat ☕
As a grassroots nonprofit that relies on fundraising, we are deeply grateful for everyone who has already signed up for the Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 22nd. Your involvement makes a real difference in our ability to serve our community year-round, especially during harsh winter days.
To those still considering joining us for CNOY, we hope these recent weather events highlight the vital role Safe 'N Sound plays in our community.
