Shiatsu is a type of massage developed in Japan that affects the connective tissues of the body which helps to increase circulation, hydration and flexibility to previously congested, tight, and/or poorly circulated tissues. It helps to relax the body and mind which allows the healing process to begin. This type of massage is enjoyed with oils or fully clothed. $75 for 60 minutes, $115 for 90 minutes or $160 for 120 minutes.
Hot Stone Shiatsu is a combination of stones that have been heated up and Shiatsu massage. Using oil to allow the stones to glide over the skin creates a luxurious massage that warms and relaxes the muscles. It helps increase the body’s circulation to flush toxins and allows the muscles to take a break and just relax. This is a great massage to be enjoyed in the winter when you are cold. 75 minutes for $120.
Reiki is a type of therapy developed in Japan that can be combined with massage to open up the body’s energy channels. Just like atoms vibrate so do humans, when our energies or vibrations are not correct our bodies aren’t as healthy as they could be. With gentle energy balancing using breath, crystals, sounds, colours, or visualizations and massage the body can be brought back into a state of health and balance. This type of therapy is enjoyed with oils or fully clothed. $75 for 60 minutes, $115 for 90 minutes.
Acupressure is a type of therapy that, like Reiki, focuses on the energies or vibrations of the body. There are pathways all over our body that are closer to the surface and easier to access which the Chinese mapped out and called Meridians. Each Meridian has different amounts of points along them and when combined specifically with other points or Meridians, can bring the body back into a balanced state. This type of therapy is enjoyed fully clothed. $75 for 60 minutes, $115 for 90 minutes.
AcuChi JinShin is a type of therapy that uses dual point pressure neuro-muscularly or energetic flow of meridians to obtain a rhythmic balance of energy between the points of contact. This allows the body to be energized, regulated, and rejuvenated physically, mentally, and emotionally. This type of therapy is enjoyed fully clothed. $75 for 60 minutes, $115 for 90 minutes.
Reflexology is a type of massage that uses nerve reflexes to stimulate other areas of the body. Each nerve has a pathway and when one end of that pathway is stimulated the message is carried along the whole length. When the hands, feet, and face are massaged the nerve endings there are stimulated which sends messages to every other part of the body. Combined with a warm paraffin wax bath, (for hands and feet) that helps increase circulation and reduce inflammation, this is a treatment to be pampered with. Basic $75 for 60 minutes or with paraffin $95 for 60 minutes.
Iridology is the study of the Iris to obtain information about the tissues in the rest of the body. Every nerve in the body has an ending in the eye and when something happens along any of those nerves it leaves a clue in the Iris. Sometimes these clues are there when you are born and some appear in your lifetime. Through looking at the Iris and asking questions a conclusion can be drawn about the health of your body and what steps can be taken to fix any problems through diet or bodywork. Three 1 hour sessions with Iris reading and nutritional profile updated after each session $200
Aromatherapy is a combination of essential oils that aid the body in relaxation, rejuvenation, or invigoration. Through some quick questions a simple blend can be created for whatever your body needs. The chemical compound of each essential oil effects the body in a different way creating calm, healing, reduction of inflammation, etc. $5 add on to a regular massage or reflexology session.
Pregnancy Shiatsu Massage on a pillow that allows a woman to lay on her front. There is a pocket for the baby to be cradled in and a pocket for the woman's chest so I can work on her lower back and a face cradle to support the Mother to be's head. Most women suffer from a sore lower back and sciatic pain which can be reduced and/or relieved with massage. With the use of this pillow that can be achieved. I am charging the same rate as a usual Shiatsu session which is 60 minutes for $75
