Tomorrow’s Mom’s Connection Group is our Moms in the Moment session — happening Tuesday, February 10th.

This is our craft-focused week. We’ll have a simple activity set up, and you’re also welcome to bring along something you’re already working on, like crocheting, knitting, or another small project. It’s less about the craft itself and more about having space to sit, connect, and enjoy the moment with your baby right there with you.

Mom’s Connection Group runs Tuesdays from 1:30–3:30 PM at the CDC and is open to caregivers of infants 0–1 years old.

If your baby arrived early, you don’t have to navigate those first months on your own.

The CDC offers support for families with premature babies through our Infant Development Program, Physiotherapy services and more. The early years are an important time for growth and development, and having the right supports in place can make a real difference — for both babies and caregivers.

Our team works alongside families to support movement, development, and confidence, meeting babies where they are and responding to their unique needs. If you have questions, concerns, or would like to learn more, we’re here to help.

Call us at 250-392-4481 or visit our website – link in comments.

Starting solids can bring up a lot of questions — and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Our Starting Solids workshop is coming up and is designed for caregivers of babies 0–1 years who are beginning (or thinking about beginning) solid foods. We’ll talk through how to introduce purées and finger foods, what to watch for, and how to support your baby with confidence as they explore new tastes and textures.

Wednesday, February 11
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
At the CDC - Free

This is a relaxed, supportive space to learn, ask questions, and connect with other caregivers. Babies are welcome.
To register or for more information, call 250-392-4481.
