♠️ ACED IT!

The Kin Club of Russell did it again.

On Thursday night, the club hosted its annual Catch the Ace Gala, and the impact was nothing short of incredible. More than $3 million was donated to 25 local charities. The WDMH Foundation was proud to be among the recipients, receiving a generous $282,717.40 through this year’s event.

Funds raised will support the WDMH Healthcare Undesignated Fund, allowing the Foundation to direct resources where they are needed most at either Wi******er District Memorial Hospital or Dundas Manor.

Have you heard about Lynne's Club?

Lynne’s Club is our monthly giving program. It allows you to donate in monthly installments, receive one tax receipt at the end of the year, and saves the Foundation mailing costs!

The Club is named after Lynne Wilson, a passionate and innovative Managing Director of the Foundation, as a tribute to mark our appreciation for her service and vision. Lynne was with the Foundation from 2003 until June 2006, when she passed away from cancer. Her dedication to WDMH helped bring the dream of a new hospital to life, cementing local quality care for future generations.

Cheering on Justine as She Runs Her First 10K for WDMH & Dundas Manor!

Justine Plummer is taking on a big personal challenge this year — she’s running her first-ever 10K during Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend!

Justine chose to dedicate her run to supporting Wi******er District Memorial Hospital and the new Dundas Manor Long Term Care Home. Her inspiration comes from her deep personal connection to both — she was born at WDMH, her grandpa received compassionate care here at his end of life, and her grandma lived at Dundas Manor for many years.

But Justine isn’t running just for herself. She’s running for the entire community — for everyone who relies on WDMH today, and for those who may someday call Dundas Manor home.

If you’d like to support Justine’s 10K journey and help strengthen local health care, we’d love for you to join her effort.

Click the link below to make a donation and support her run.

Let’s cheer Justine on as she takes on this incredible milestone — for health care close to home, for our residents, and for our community!
