I believe that seeking support amidst life's challenges is one of the bravest forms of self-care. As a Registered Social Worker with a background in Human Kinetics, Social Work, Education, and Psychology, I am passionate about working through both our mind and body experiences. During our time together, your well-being and mental strength are my main priority. I understand that working with individuals in a therapeutic way is a privilege, and I am grateful to offer you the attention and care you deserve. Let's work together to achieve your highest potential while calming your mind along the way. We will identify challenges that are preventing you from living the life you deserve. Through compassion, we will explore ways in which you can overcome obstacles and find inner-peace. Take yourself on the therapeutic journey of self-growth and wholehearted wellness. If you're curious about therapy but you have a few questions before booking your first appointment, connect with me for a free 15 minute virtual meeting. We will discuss your goals and expectations while exploring if you think therapy would be a good fit for you.

Anyone else feel rage during this part of Sean Combs: The Reckoning? I know I had to pause and take multiple breaths. This could have been caption: juror who doesn’t understand the cycle of abuse.

Zeus gets it.

Link in bio to learn about how that cycle affects the ability to “completely get out”.

PSA: See Something. Say Something.

Speaking up isn’t always easy – but it can save a life.

Recently, two local kids, just 13 and 15 years old, noticed troubling signs that one of their neighbours was experiencing intimate partner violence. They urged their parents to call 911. The parents hesitated, unsure about getting involved, until one child said:

"If it was you, I’d want someone to call."

The call was made. Officers arrived quickly, intervened, and arrested the suspect. The victim received support, the violence stopped, and the evidence helped secure a conviction. One brave moment changed the outcome, and it may have saved a life.

This is a powerful reminder for all of us:
• Don’t be a bystander.
• Don’t be afraid to speak up.
• Don’t wait for someone else to act.

If you see an emergency or believe someone is in danger, call 911 immediately. Your call could be the turning point for someone who can’t ask for help themselves.
