🧠True or False? How well do you know the CMHA Health Centre

In our final video, Charlene, Alanna, and Dr. Hussain come together to answer some of the most common misconceptions and FAQs we hear about care at the CMHA Health Centre, including:

✔️ Is the Health Centre accepting new patients?
✔️ Is care limited to just doctors and nurses?
✔️ Is preventive care only for people who are already sick?
✔️ Does the Health Centre offer integrated health care?
✔️ Do mental and physical health really go hand in hand?

This quick-fire true or false round shows how the CMHA Health Centre supports people through accessible, team-based, whole-person care. Health isn't just one thing--it's everything working together 🤝

💘This Valentine's Day, try focusing on glimmers instead of triggers. 💘

Valentine's Day can stir up a lot–pressure, comparison, grief, and loneliness. Instead of judging those feelings, we can gently shift our attention to ✨glimmers✨: the small moments that help our nervous system feel safe, calm, and connected.

Glimmers might look like:
💫A quiet moment to yourself
💫A warm drink, deep breath, a favourite song
💫A boundary honoured
💫Treating yourself with the same care you'd offer someone you love

Self-love isn't about being perfect or positive all the time. It's about listening to what you need, moving your body with kindness, unplugging when necessary, and allowing space for rest and reflection. Sometimes self-love is doing less–not more.

Today, let love be soft. Let it be steady. Let it start with you. 💞

Black history is also a story of care, connection, and community.

From families and caregivers to elders, advocates, and healers, Black communities have long created spaces of support and resilience, often in the face of systemic barriers.

As a community mental health organization, we recognize the importance of culturally responsive, community-informed approaches to care that honour lived experience and collective strength.

"This is my third year participating in The Push-Up Challenge, and it's become something I truly look forward to. Mental wellness is at the heart of everything I do through and this year I'll be incorporating push-ups into my pilates + fitness classes to inspire women to move and start conversations around mental health."
