As Black History Month comes to a close, our commitment to equity does not.

Honouring Black history also means continuing to challenge inequities, strengthen community partnerships, and support access to care that is inclusive, responsive, and affirming all year long.

Thank you to the Black communities, leaders, and changemakers who continue to shape a more just and compassionate future.

If you are able, we'd so appreciate your donation to this challenge and to the work of life promotion and su***de awareness right here in Windsor-Essex. Join us in making a difference!

But beyond the challenge, we ask you to keep the conversation going. Keep reaching out - you are not alone.

"Pushing for better mental health is so important to let individuals realize they are not alone in their thoughts or struggles. I have struggled with anxiety and bouts of depression, but am grateful for the tools and support around me to help me cope in those moments.
Putting time aside each day to do my push-ups is something I look forward to! I do them everywhere and it leads to opportunities to start conversations about mental health."

We are living in an uncertain time, each of us carrying a silent weight.

At CMHA, we know mental health care can't start at the point of crisis. It has to begin earlier - through prevention, promotion, advocacy, and systems change. It has to be community-based, accessible, and sustained.

That's what we work toward every day.

The Push-Up Challenge is one powerful expression of that belief. This year over 100,000 Canadian are caring for their own well-being while raising funds and normalizing conversations about mental health.

Now is our chance to stand with them.
