You might need to read this today. When things get hard, remember, you’re harder. So many people fall off and step back when life or training gets hard. I encourage you to keep going. Find the adrenaline in training, remind yourself of the enjoyment of group rides, and embrace the relief of a good cry during a run. We know in this space most people post their good days, rarely do we see the rough. I’m here to remind you that we all have those rough days. Keep going. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is the present, which is why we call it a gift!

So beyond proud of my husband for receiving Physician of the Year Presidents Award for the second time! I get the pleasure first hand of witnessing his relentless efforts to strive for growth. He always is learning the newest guidelines, following the latest research and going above and beyond for his patients. I’m so grateful to know and hear others also recognize his efforts and his exceptional patient care.

Thank you and for his heartfelt nomination. He is lucky to work alongside you both!

So very proud of this awesome couple this season! Both have put their best foot forward to try to see where their bodies can take them! We love having you both on this team!

Congratulating on an absolutely killer season! What a way to finish the season solidifying first place AG at Belle Isle! Mitch has a tough job where he faces the elements all day at work and puts in long hours, but he still continues to show up and give it what he’s got. He’s learned to listen to his body and adapt accordingly which has been a very valuable skill. I can’t wait to see where next season takes you! I see the sky as your limit!

First race for baby, slowest race for me, but I think it tops the charts of being one of my favourite. What a unique experience running and training for two, overcoming first trimester symptoms, and becoming good at listening to my body telling me to stop rather than my mind (it’s a unique flip, it’s usually mind over matter).

As I go through this journey I am taking an active role in taking endurance coaching during pregnancy and post-natal courses to add something extra to my expertise. I have no plan on slowing down 🏃🏼‍♀️

About this weekend ❤️

I was blessed to be able to race with some very solid female role models at the Grimsby Women’s Triathlin. These girls all are inspirations to me and help me continue to work to better myself and support those around me. I was shocked to learn I still earned a place on the podium even at week 15 of pregnancy, surrounded by some solid competition. Watching these ladies thrive was all the boost I needed to get there! Thank you all for being in my life and keeping me honest and working every single day ♥️ 💜
