Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s (CKHA) Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program is a community-based, recovery model of care for individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness - where and when they need help.

The ACT program was successfully relocated to 240 Grand Ave., Chatham, providing vital mental health treatment, rehabilitation and support services in one program, with help from the TransForm IT Infrastructure team, who created and installed a new network closet, ensuring patient information is kept secure and private.

Cyber Tips - Lock Before You Walk. There are many ways you can stay vigilant and take steps to secure your devices and data at work.

1) Always lock your workstation before you walk away to keep your work secure - Lock Before You Walk

2) Always report any suspicious emails using the Report Suspicious button

3) Trust but verify - if you think an email that looks like it comes from a co-worker or HR is suspicious, call or message the person directly to verify the email is legitimate.

4) Be wary of people calling you claiming to be IT and asking you to click a link or give your username and password - IT will never ask for your credentials over the phone.

5) If an email claims you won a prize or money and asks you to click a link to claim your prize, it's a scam. If something seems to good to be true, it usually is.

Cyber threats are evolving - are you? It isn't always obvious when someone is trying to trick you online. From text messages that look like they're from your bank to phone calls that sound like they might be from your boss, staying ahead of phishing is all about being vigilant. Artificial intelligence can help us achieve things faster than ever before, like summarizing research, detailing important meetings, and even writing funny song lyrics for friends. Unfortunately, cyber criminals are using it too. AI generated phishing messages, deepfake voice calls, and even realistic fake videos are making it harder than ever to tell what's real and what isn't.

The good news is that you don't need to outsmart robots (yet) – you just need to be a little more skeptical online. Staying cautious today can even help you outsmart tomorrow's most complicated scams.
