Embrace the moon, no matter the color 😉

On March 3, 2026, the night sky will turn a deep, quiet red.
And just weeks later, on April 12, 2026, it will glow with a soft pink light.

Two peaceful nights. Two beautiful reminders to look up.

On March 3, the Moon will slip into Earth’s shadow during a total lunar eclipse. As sunlight filters through our atmosphere, the Moon takes on a warm copper-red color — what many call a “Blood Moon.” It’s not dramatic or frightening. It’s calm. Steady. Almost glowing like an ember in the sky.

Then on April 12, we’ll see the “Pink Moon.” Despite the name, it won’t actually be bright pink. The name comes from early spring wildflowers that bloom this time of year. The Moon will look full, round, and softly lit — rising gently as spring settles in.

Both events happen because of simple, beautiful timing — the Moon orbiting Earth, Earth orbiting the Sun, and for a short while, everything lining up just right from where we stand.

No special equipment needed. Just step outside. Let your eyes adjust. Take a quiet breath.
